Therapeutic Massage uses touch to promote the healthy functioning of the body.
It encourages relaxation and provides an opportunity for the body to learn new habits. So if you suffer from a stress-related condition, regular massage can give you the chance to break the habit of constant tension; if you have aches and pains, massage can provide relief from pain and stimulate healing.
Treatments are tailored carefully to the individual, taking into account medical history and current condition. They aim to bring general relaxation before working at a muscle-specific level, so that the body is receptive to detailed attention. Most clients leave feeling at peace with the world, and enjoy their treatments. At last! Something that's good for you and enjoyable!
Appointments are available at Ramsbury Surgery, which is within easy reach of Swindon, Marlborough and Hungerford. Please note that all appointments need to be made direct with me rather than through the surgery.
Home visits are possible where mobility is a problem.
About Me
Your Success at our fingertips
I qualified in Therapeutic Massage in January 2006 after studying with the Maitri Foundation for a diploma awarded by the Association of Physical and Natural Therapists. This followed a career in industry working with manufacturing business systems - interesting at the time but never a passion.
I work independently, but have strong links with other local therapists. This enables me to refer confidently where appropriate, giving my clients a more rounded service, and keeps me fed with fresh approaches and new ideas.
I live in Aldbourne with my family. I love the sense of community in village life, and being able to step out of my door with a pair of walking boots on. Life is good!
