SERVICES

Welcome to Osteopaths ' R ' Us

Mynndie Panesar is a qualified osteopath, qualified with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and has been in practice since 1989, having studied at the British School of Osteopathy in Trafalgar Square, London. As well as working in Luton within a GP practice in Bedfordshire, Mynndie worked in Mill Hill for several years - but has now moved to Edgware since May 2005, in the endeavour to open a multidisciplinary alternative therapy clinic.

Mynndie uses conventional osteopathic techniques but also uses ultrasound...useful for the more acute problems and especially ankle sprains/sports injuries and tennis elbow.

Treatments

Treatment is geared for each individual person and depends very much on the problem and symptom picture. After in depth questioning to assess the patients symptoms you may be asked to remove some clothing and the relevant area assessed, by a physical examination which involves palpatory examination as well as an assessment of mobility etc.

Then your treatment begins. This will involve some massage, some use of ultrasound if needed for that particular problem, some manipulative treatment of the involved and other connected areas, some stretching and articulation.

In my experience I feel it is very important for the patient to understand their condition and hence there diagnosis in very simple and understandable terminology. This is most imperative in treatment. Treatment should last about 30 minutes.

If there is anything you do not understand you should always ask.
