TESTIMONIALS

Massage

I first met Jayne shortly after the birth of my first son at one of her baby massage courses. I am very glad to have signed up for this. Prior to this I knew nothing about baby massage and I learnt a lot. It gave me the chance to really bond with my son and provided a post-bath time ritual which we enjoyed for many months. Not only that, it proved a sociable opportunity. Through that I met other local mums with babies of similar ages who I have since stayed in touch with.

Further down the line I decided to go to Jayne for one of her post-natal massages, a bit of a treat to myself. I lead a very full life with a demanding job and long commute, and these massages provided a respite from that and the day to day business of motherhood and running a house.

As soon as I discovered I was pregnant with my second child I knew I wanted to continue seeing Jayne, this time for her pregnancy massages. I have tried to make these as regular as I can (monthly) and plan in the final stages to make them even more regular. Jayne is fantastic and completely understands the needs of a pregnant woman. Whereas I used to just go for a back, neck and shoulder massage, I now go for the full body massage. Jayne has a body cushion for the earlier stages which is very comfortable and then for the later stages I have been on my side with a pillow supporting my bump. Jayne is still able to apply pressure to the places that need it and it is fantastic to have a leg massage, as you don't realise just how much extra weight your legs are having to carry. The massages take place in her home, a very calming environment, and I appreciate her choice of music during the massages.

Her massages and the baby massage course represent fantastic value for money and I would always choose going to Jayne over going to a beauty salon, where the service is much less personal and tailored to me.

After the birth of my second child I plan to continue seeing Jayne for post-natal massage and probably another baby massage course, to refresh my skills!! I can't recommend her highly enough.

Nutrition

I was a client of Jayne’s firstly as a teenager in 1995, when I attended with my Mum, and more recently as an adult for skin/hormonal problems. I am seeing her presently for nutritional support during my pregnancy. She has always worked in a very supportive way giving clear, easy to follow guidelines and handouts. She has always progressed with treatment at a pace appropriate to my needs and circumstances and has taken financial constraints into consideration. She has always encouraged me to seek medical advice and diagnosis when necessary. I have always felt confident that confidentiality is maintained and feel that she has worked with me in a sensitive and non judgemental way. Over the years I have come to appreciate the value of her recommendations and take responsibility for my health. I feel the improvements she has helped me to make to my diet and lifestyle have been life changing.
