Now a H.P.C. Registered Podiatrist and is governed by a regulatory body, the Health Professions Council (HPC).

Davendra has extensive experience in managing many foot-related conditions. He has worked in the NHS for 9 1/2 years, specializing in Diabetes foot care. Having wanted to give more care to his patients and keep them mobile he moved into the private sector.

Having branched out into Marigold Therapy and Reiki, he is able to give a thorough in-depth treatment, to all who receive treatment at his practice.

Davendra will continue to give outstanding care and help reduce symptoms and pain of the lower limb, increase patient awareness of injuries so as to try and keep them mobile.

PODIATRIST / CHIROPODIST

Chiropodists and podiatrists, deal with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the lower limb are qualified to treat people with arthritis, diabetes, nail surgery and sports injuries.

They work with people of all ages but play a particularly important role in helping older people to stay mobile and, therefore, independent.

The registration process for podiatrists has recently changed.
Due to recent changes in legislation, common professional titles like ‘chiropodist’ and ‘podiatrist’ are now protected by law.

Anyone who uses a protected title must register with the Health Professions council (HPC). Registration with the HPC now replaces the previous system of State Registration.

There is no difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist.
