Working from home as a sole practitioner, sessions are professionally conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to put the client at ease. A short consultation will be followed by treatment specifically aimed at treating the problem, this includes whiplash injury, back pain, repetitive strain injury (RSI), sports injuries, joint replacements and many more.
Elaine is also qualified in Thai massage which she incorporates into her normal physiotherapy treatments to great effect.
Common Complaints Treated:
Spinal problems – Low back pain, sciatica, cervical pain/stiffness, whiplash, disc degeneration, referred pain in arm/leg.
Joint Problems – Arthritis, injury, pain/swelling/stiffness in joints such as shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet.
Soft Tissue Injuries – Sprains and strains to muscles, ligaments, tendons, cartilage. Work related conditions such as Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI)
Fractures – Treatment to aid a speedy recovery of function after the fracture has healed. Exercises and advice to help you progress.
Obstetrics – Ante and post natal back pain.
Chest Conditions – Medical or post operative chest problems including asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, bronchiectasis, pneumonia.
Neurological Conditions – Strokes, head injuries, multiple sclerosis, ME.
