Welcome to South Coast Occupational TherapyHelping you to maintain independence
Do I need an occupational therapist?
Occupational Therapists work in a variety of fields, helping to promote independence in daily living. An Occupational Therapist can offer an assessment of your needs, and design an individual treatment/care plan for you. You may, for example, have difficulties getting in and out of your home, going up and down the stairs, or getting in and out of the bath.
An Occupational Therapist can offer advice around techniques to carry out daily living tasks, or may offer independent advice around equipment or adaptations that may assist you and enable you to retain your independence.
