I offer confidential, one to one psychotherapy. I work from my home in Chesterton ,Cambridge. My aim is to help my clients to bring about positive changes in their lives in a safe and supportive environment.
SERVICES As an integrative psychotherapist I use a variety of approaches. My training included Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Attachment Theory and Jungian methods.
The arts can be useful in helping to bring about the desired changes, to get in touch with emotions or in effecting self-exploration. I am trained in using drawing, painting, claywork, puppets, metaphors and visual imagery, sandtray work and bodywork in order to facilitate this. However, if clients are uncomfortable about using these media or feel most comfortable when simply talking there is no pressure upon them to use the arts.
I work with clients experiencing a range of issues including:
* depression
*relationship problems
*low self-esteem
*self-harm
*anger
*childhood abuse
*grief and loss
*work related problems
* repeated patterns of unwanted behaviour.
I work from my home which is a 2nd floor apartment. There is no lift so, unfortunately, there is no access for anyone with mobility difficulties .
There is space for parking on the private road outside.
