A squint, also known as strabismus is the general term for when both eyes do not look in the same direction. There are three different types of squint which are characterised by the directions of the eyes gaze. A squint is caused by difficulty in focusing and may be treated with glasses, patching, visual therapy and in some cases, surgery.
