Treatments

Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy are concerned with function and movement, it is a way of detecting and treating damaged nerves, joints and muscles, when the body is balanced and moving correctly it will function with the minimum of wear, stress and energy. We carry out a full observation and assessment of each patient which involves a thorough examination. And with our advice and guidance return back to work and general activities pain free. The correct diagnosis and treatment will ultimately achieve the bodies balance away from any misalignments or dysfunction. It is not necessary to be referred to us by your doctor, although many of our patients are.

Your first visit and treatment will focused on your current symptoms at that time and any relevant past medical history will be taken, we then carry out an examination to determine whether Physiotherapy or sports therapy will be your appropriate route of treatment, after the examination and treatment has been carried out we will be able to advise you the amount of treatments required in resolving your problem. The simpler problems often require only one visit the more long standing chronic problems may require further sessions.

The treatment is carried out by hand and we employ a wide variety of protocols ranging from soft tissue massage to manipulation, we have the latest electrotherapy, ultrasound and tens machines which are used if applicable to assist in treatments.

We do not charge additional fees for assessments or examinations and there are no hidden charges or costs
