SERVICES
Welcome to Susie Alderson
Reflexology
The origins of Reflexology date back to Ancient Egypt and China where it was practised as a form of massage therapy on the feet.
Today it has developed into a very versatile and popular complementary therapy. It involves a method of treatment which massages reflex points on the feet corresponding to every part of the body. It can help to restore the body’s natural balance by instilling deep relaxation, reducing stress and promoting healing. It can improve circulation, nerve function and helps to cleanse the body of toxins. Regular treatments are an enjoyable preventative therapy.
Reflexology does not claim to cure or diagnose but a course of treatments has been shown to be effective for a number of conditions including:
Back pain
Sports injuries
Stress-related conditions
Migraine
Arthritis
Sleep disorders
Digestive problems
Hormonal imbalances
Infertility
Your first treatment will last for just over an hour as it will include a consultation to note any medical conditions, health and lifestyle factors that may influence the treatment.
24 hours notice is required for any cancellations, otherwise a fee may be charged.
Why not treat family and friends to a relaxing treatment? Gift vouchers are available, please phone for details. Evening and weekend appointments are also available.
Food for Thought
Do you have niggling health issues which you don’t know how to improve?
Would you like to find a way of feeling better?
Nutritional Therapy is the practice of making appropriate changes to your diet to help promote optimal health and disease prevention. This approach tackles health problems by supporting the body towards achieving normal function.
Nutritional Therapy can help to alleviate a wide range of conditions and assist in the recovery of ill health. Common areas of work include:-- Headaches / Migraine
- Increasing energy levels
- IBS and other digestive problems
- Hormone imbalances
- Fertility
- Food sensitivities
- Weight loss
- Boosting your immune system.
A consultation includes dietary and nutritional advice and recognises that each person is an individual who has unique requirements and therefore needs personalised nutrition plans.
You will need to fill out a detailed questionnaire prior to an appointment and the content will be discussed at the consultation. Possible explanations will be given which will help to clarify areas where changes may be needed. You will be given a programme which may include dietary, lifestyle and nutritional supplement recommendations.
