I live in Wiltshire and share my life with my husband Andy and various animals.
I became interested in holistic therapies about 15 years ago, having been successfully treated by an herbalist. I began reading up and learning about home remedies which brought me to essential oils and aromatherapy.
In 2001 I qualified as a masseuse practicing Swedish body massage and Indian head massage. The following year I completed a diploma course in Holistic therapies. This added aromatherapy and reflexology to my treatment list.
Since then I have used essential oils in all aspects of my life, not just for healing, but also in my home and as alternative parasite control for my animals. This led me to GEOTA. - The guild of essential oil therapists for animals. I qualified in essential oil therapy for animals in 2006. To support the natural care I offer to animals, I also run courses on natural feeding for dogs and cats.
As well as the holistic healing, I try to live as natural a lifestyle as I can, treading lightly on the earth by using as few harmful chemicals as possible, organically growing much of my own food on my allotment, where I also keep rescued battery hens for their generous supply of eggs.
