Welcome to Devon Massage

Run by Robert Bray, Lead Tutor and Professional Sports & Remedial Massage Practitioner

Robert has been running specialist NHS and private massage clinics since 2004 in locations including Dawlish Devon, Salisbury, Wiltshire and London City. For information on clinic locations, prices and opening times, please click here.

Robert is a Registered General Nurse with extensive clinical experience in addition to his qualifications as ITEC Sports & remedial Massage Practitioner and Adult Education Tutor. He teaches the full range of courses at the Salisbury & South West School of Massage and still continues to practice as a Specialist Nurse.

Robert runs regular clinics for the NHS including Occupational Health Departments and NHS Staff facilities, helping to alleviate and minimise occupationally related physical and stress related problems. He now also runs private clinics in several locations which are open to the general public.

Robert's clinics have been the subject of very succesful clinical audits and have proved beyond doubt the effectiveness of the treatments he delivers.

Robert is also has regular health related columns and writes professional articles for a number of Professional journals and regional newspaper & magazines.

Robert is a full member of the International Council for Health, Fitness & Sports Therapists, Association of Therapy Lecturers, Guild of Holistic Therapists, Royal College of Nursing and The Nusing and Midwifery Council.

Our Services


Remedial Massage - using specialised massage techniques, many muscular problems can be successfully alleviated.

Sports Massage - aids in prevention of and recovery from Sporting problems and injuries. Can be helpful in enhancing sporting performance and preparation.

Swedish Massage - a great all-round body treatment. Can help to relax tight muscle, aids relaxation, promotes healthy sleep patterns, minimises stress and helps improve movement and joint function.

Thai Foot Massage - helps with movement in the legs and feet but also promotes relaxation, minimises stress and balances the body. Using traditional Thai Massage techniques, reflex points in the feet are activated to promote healing and a feeling of wellness.

Indian Head Massage - a massage of the shoulders, neck, scalp and face. Said to promote relaxation, loosen tight muscles, increase range of movement, and relieve stress. Also strengthens the hair and can leave the face looking and feeling more relaxed and radiant.

Hot Stone Therapy - this massage is performed using hot basalt stones. The heat from the stones instantly relaxes the muscles and helps to take relaxation to a deeper level. Engulfed in heat, the body is able to relieve itself from stress, muscle tension and anxiety.
