Pilates

Pilates exercises strengthen the muscles that support and stabilise the core of your body. Learning more about your posture and practising neutral Pilates positions often will also help to relieve the discomfort of any general back pain.
As well as enabling such changes and improvements in the short term, Pilates is also about enjoying long-term wellbeing and a permanently enhanced level of physical health.




Aromatherapy

A gentle healing art that incorporates the systemic use of natural essential oils to promote health and wellbeing, aromatherapy is now established as one of the most popular complementary therapies. The soothing combination of beautiful aromas, massage, aromatic baths and other treatments all work to regulate, balance, heal and maintain your entire being by working with nature, and not against it.




Guided Meditation

Guided Meditation is a focused way of meditating, to get in a higher state of consciousness in order to achieve a specific goal or purpose. Guided Meditation helps us to breathe, relax and focus our thoughts and intentions on a specific goal or purpose. Through the use of our imagination and visualisation we can draw light and energy into our bodies. We can awaken latent areas of our minds and beings. We can experience ourselves opening up to a higher purpose and feel reality shifting within our being.

Unfortunately, Life doesn’t come with a manual and many of us easily get off track without realizing until it feels too late to do anything about it and one day we wake up wondering how we got here! Something very special awaits you at The Martinsell Centre. Swap your stress for serenity, immerse yourself in the tranquility and expect a life-changing experience.

The Martinsell Centre is a beautiful setting in which to learn and grow, it naturally lends itself to short-break retreats and the practise and promotion of a numerous holistic disciplines including yoga, pilates and meditation, all within the peaceful surrounds of a magical landscape. The peaceful rural setting offer miles of uninterrupted rambling in some of Britain’s most sacred and ancient countryside.

As soon as you arrive you’ll feel the special energy of this area. The tranquil surrounds offer miles of rambling space to explore in between your activities. Nearby attractions include the mysterious Avebury Stones, Stonehenge, numerous longbarrows and other sacred sites. Your overnight stay will be in the comfortable shared self-contained accommodation within the grounds.
