When the College was born in 1992, we envisaged a course that would suit this kind of person. Little did we know that by now we would be one of the largest and most highly respected schools of Oriental medicine in the UK. As we have grown we have kept our relaxed and friendly atmosphere and our students really value our hands-on approach and inspiring, interactive teaching. Graduates tell us that our flexible training courses make it easy to turn acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Tui Na into rewarding and successful careers.

Treatment
Traditional Chinese medicine is based on the belief that an essential life force called qi ("chee") flows through the body along channels called meridians. These meridians are like rivers that irrigate the body and nourish its’ tissues. Any obstruction along one of the meridians is like a dam that blocks the vital energy flow, creating pain and disease.- Acupuncture
