SERVICES

Hello and Welcome!

Feeling Stressed or Tense?
Book yourself some 'Me' time
and treat yourself to a relaxing holistic
treatment.
You deserve it!

Kat is a qualified, practising complementary therapist currently based in Worcestershire. A European Business graduate, she worked for 8 years in accountancy but became more and more interested in holistic and complementary therapies. Her work colleagues paid for her to attend a Reiki course as they said she was never cut out to be an accountant! She also took the VTCT Diploma in Indian Head Massage and a course in Crystal therapy while still working full time.
She spent 2 years travelling in South America, Australasia and Asia, living in Nepal for 6 months while volunteering at an orphanage in Kathmandu and in a school in a remote hill village.
Returning to the UK, after experiencing many wonderful therapies and seeing their effects she could not see herself back in an office environment so retrained full time in Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. This was followed by Bowen Therapy, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and many other spiritual and hands-on therapy qualifications over the years.
Further overseas travel, incorporating training courses, enabled Kat to immerse herself in her passion and interest in Ayurvedic Therapies including Abhyanga Massage, Pizichilli, Shirodhara, Udvartana and other therapies, qualifying in a ‘Kerala Panchakarma Therapist Program’. Being able to practice and learn these ancient Indian therapies over 5000 years old, was an experience she will never forget! Her visits to India have reaffirmed her desire for an Ayurvedic lifestyle which encompasses yoga and meditation giving her an enriched outlook on life.
Kat now offers complementary techniques from around the world, in particular India and Thailand, both as treatments and as workshops to give you techniques to add to your therapy toolbox!

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy utilises the healing properties of essential oils to restore balance to the mind, body and spirit. These oils are extracted from plants, trees, flowers and shrubs and are blended by the aromatherapist to suit the client and to promote a sense of well-being.

Body Massage (Holistic, Swedish, Ayurvedic, Balinese, Indonesian, Hawaiian, Sports)

Massage is the practice of manipulating the soft tissues of legs, arms, back, neck, shoulders and abdomen, including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, joints and lymphatic vessels to aid healing of injuries, relieve stress, manage pain and improve circulation. I utilise a variety of techniques drawn from around the world.

Reiki (Ray Key) Universal Life Energy

A method of energy healing founded in Japan. Reiki aims to release energy blockages in the body present when someone is ill or stressed. It can help with physical, mental, emotional & spiritual problems. Reiki can be safely used alongside other complementary therapies and traditional medicine.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the application of pressure to reflex points on the tops, sides and soles of the feet. These points are linked to the body's major organs. The feet are extremely sensitive and responsive due to the thousands of nerve endings they contain.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage or Champissage is carried out not only on the scalp, but also the upper back and arms, shoulders, neck, ears and face. An excellent, relaxing therapy to combat stress and tension, provide relief from aches pains, stress symptoms, insomnia, promote hair growth, sooth, comfort and rebalance your energy flow to give you a deep sense of calm and tranquillity.

Ear Candling
(Thermo-Auricular therapy)

Used for generations by indigenous peoples, these cotton, beeswax, honey extract and herb candles are suitable for children and adults. They induce relaxation and help with earache and excessive wax, headaches, sinus problems, colds, stress and nervousness.

Bowen Therapy

Bowen Therapy is a remedial, hands-on therapy that is applied using very gentle pressure. The practitioner uses thumbs and fingers on precise points of the body to perform Bowen’s unique sets of rolling-type moves which stimulate the muscles and soft tissue of the body. There is no manipulation or adjustment of hard tissue and no force is used. The experience of a treatment is gentle, subtle and relaxing. It is believed that Bowen prompts the body to reset, repair and balance itself and clients report the experience of pain relief, improvement of function and recovery of energy.
