I aim to make everyone feel at ease and comfortable and treat everyone as unique individuals - this allows everyone to enjoy and benefit much more from the experience. I believe that we all have 'special needs' and at yoga sessions you are always encouraged to follow your own path. No need to have any special abilities or be a certain body type as yoga is for real people and if you have any challenging conditions ie. an illness, back or joint problems, have weight issues, experience depression, stress or anxiety or are looking for an alternative way to be healthy, increase your energy, improve vitality and feel good then yoga can help you.

Welcome to Kath Gibbons Yoga
I have a passion for yoga that I hope to share with others. Yoga brings on a sense of well-being that helps us to live to our potential. Yoga is not just for slim flexible people as portrayed in the media. Yoga offers so much to all people. The asana (postures which can be gentle) build strength and flexiblity, sequences and movements with the breath stimulate the circulation, pranayama (breath control) revitalises and rejuvenates the whole self and meditation refreshes and nourishes mind, body and spirit. Yet more than this, the teachings of Yoga show us paths we can follow to help us live a fulfilling enriching life.
About me and Yoga in Burnley and Pendle
I hold a British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma and I am certified to teach yoga for children, yoga for pregnancy and yoga for cancer. I have been teaching yoga in Burnley and Pendle for five years.
