Acupuncture
Dr (TCM) Angelo D’Alberto treats all conditions with acupuncture and Chinese medicine and regularly sees patients with fertility and menstrual problems, pain, headaches, digestive problems, stress and anxiety. He has years of experience using acupuncture and Chinese medicine to help couples conceive naturally or through the use of assisted reproductive techniques such as IVF. Any type of pain is usually greatly improved after just one treatment. Acupuncture is one branch of Chinese traditional medicine that has been developed and practiced in China, Japan and other Asian countries for at least 2000 years. It is has gained increasing popularity in the West over the last 2 decades which has led to more and more clinical trials being performed that have validated acupuncture’s effectiveness.
During an acupuncture treatment, very small, fine, and sterile needles are inserted just below the surface of the skin to stimulate certain known points which aim to restore balance and any problems that may have arisen because of this lack of balance. On average Angelo inserts between 8-12 needles per session commonly on the lower arms, lower legs, abdomen and back.
Massage
At Health’s Angels we offer a selection of wonderful massages including full body massage, Pregnancy and back massage treatments to Indian Head and deep Lymphatic Massage and all are designed to promote relaxation and well-being.
Massage stimulates the blood circulation; helps muscle recovery; helps to clear the lymphatic system; helps reduce anxiety, stress and blood pressure; and much more. It is a glorious escape from our busy lifestyles and a welcome for our body’s tired muscles and sluggish systems.
Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue. It is recommended for those who experience consistent pain, athletes, and those who have sustained physical injury.
Kinesiology
Systematic Kinesiology uses painless muscle testing to identify, understand and rectify any imbalances within the body. A treatment always looks at all elements that may be affecting your health – emotions, chemical challenges (including food sensitivities), structural or energetic stresses. Once any imbalances are identified, a treatment plan is implemented specific to your requirements. This may include acupressure, firm reflex massage, flower remedies, nutritional support, emotional stress release techniques, suggested lifestyle changes and more. The exact treatment you receive depends entirely on the requirements of your body, determined by your body’s response to the muscle tests.
