Welcome to Foods U Choose To Eat

Peter Mitchell is a qualified Nutritionist, awarded the Diploma with honours in Applied Clinical Nutrition as a Nutritionist by the highly regarded International Institute of Clinical Nutrition. He ran a business as a motorcycle technician for 18 years, is a competitor in Motocross, having maintained a personal 3-month rotational gym-workout schedule for over 30 years, he remains a dedicated sports enthusiast.

Passionate about nutrition I continue as a sports nutrition advisor, taking three years to achieve my qualification. People who've spoken to me have found I am enormously detailed and knowledgeable about food technology, food industry standards, and the market and government influences which shape food retail today.

Others have said: "The result of his interest in food research is that Peter's style of nutritional care is conscientious and honest and avoids the pedestrian nutritional practices offered by so many healthcare, food and dietry supplement organisations". And, to receive referrals from healthcare professionals, is of paramount importance today.

In mentoring not only those of a "sporty" disposition, but people with all kinds of nutritional requirements, preparing tailored plans for my patients, based upon medical, healthcare and lifestyle preferences, and priming my clients with important nutritional facts and information to enable them to make sensible purchasing decisions.

Food plays an enormous part in our physical, mental and emotional well-being. Having the right advice is priceless when it comes to choosing what constitutes you. In today's world, we are faced with a choice - to eat the food our body needs or "follow the followers".

Our Services

We're often told healthy eating is about watching the fat and sugar. However, nutrition is such a complex subject that only a comprehensive understanding of your needs allows for a good eating plan or, lifestyle. You may have chosen products branded as 'low-fat' but a look at the nutritional information with an experienced eye reveals that most of these are packed with non-sugar carbohydrates, impacting the health in other - equally damaging - ways.

Many everyday items are marketed as if they're good for us. Did you know that pasteurised milk contains few nutritional benefits? That semi-skimmed or fully-skimmed milk is more harmful than 'pasteurised goat's milk, being far superior to cow's milk? And, did you know that eating fruit too soon before or after a meal causes digestion upsets? We're told that eggs contain cholesterol and should be avoided, but did you know that the cholesterol in eggs is of no issue to your body at all?

With careful consideration towards supplemental assistance, this may vary somewhat, depending on each individual who is just that - an individual! Each person is metabolically 'independent' to the next. So, make that decision today, fill out a 'report card' (available from my web) of what you eat/drink for 5 days, send it to me and await your results. Once this has been done I can guide you more acuratly to improve your health and become more educated about your eating plan . I aim to get you happy about your health, it does have a price, in time to adjust and your cost - £85.

This will give you 6 weeks 'cover' allowing you to contact me as and when you feel the need to. You will recieve an analytical report of where you are 'now', recommendations of foods to avoid and those to choose and, at the end of the 6 weeks, allowing for the slow changes to 'take place' you can have another report of where you are going - fine tuning yourself, we say - for £25. This will show your progress also, those foods that can be taken seriously and those you need to 'leave alone'! QUALIFICATION DETAILS
A period of almost 3 years in length was required for me to 'Qualify' as a Nutritional Consultant to Diploma level. This I did while still paying the bills of life and after 'qualifying' I now spend 100% of my time in research and study of many different aspects of which our good health needs covering, after all, we are all what we eat, are we not!
