This London-based course is for people who wish to qualify as a massage therapist and who have no previous experience. The course includes a thorough grounding in full body massage techniques, theory and business taught in class. A 6 weekend course (approx once every 3 weeks) designed to fit around full-time work. The Anatomy and Physiology for this course will be studied online via our Anatomy and Physiology e-course.

ITEC Level 3 Professional Diploma in Holistic Massage Practice (Fast-track)
This intensive London-based ITEC massage course is organised in 2 blocks of 7 and 4 days with a 2 month gap and is for people who wish to qualify as a massage therapist quickly and who have no previous experience. The course includes a thorough grounding in full body massage techniques, theory and business taught in class.

BTEC Level 5 Sports Massage & ITEC Level 3 Holistic Massage Professional Diploma
This London-based course is for people who wish to qualify as a sports massage therapist and who have no previous experience. The course comprises of a streamlined Level 4 Holistic Massage Diploma (the highest level in the UK) which follows directly onto a Postgraduate Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Diploma. The course includes a thorough grounding in full body massage techniques, theory and business, and advanced Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology. The course takes place over 13.5 weekends, one approximately every three weeks.

This London-based Postgraduate course is for qualified massage therapists who currently hold a recognised qualification in Massage, Anatomy and Physiology (ITEC/BTEC or equivalent). Also suitable for Qualified Physiotherapists, Osteopaths etc, or those studying these qualifications. The course includes a thorough grounding in a wide variety of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention techniques and theory, business skills and advanced Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology. This London-based Postgraduate course is for qualified massage therapists or other therapists with massage experience only who want to qualify in Sports and Remedial Massage quickly. Giving Massage to the Person with Cancer and Other Serious Illness

Positional Release
This hands on course is designed to develop your skills in applying Positional Release to the body. Positional Release is a gentle and amazing technique which has origins in soft tissue osteopathy. The technique enables a ‘pain free’ approach to release areas of tight muscle tissue. This workshop is highly practical enabling a qualified therapist to integrate this approach into their practice.

Soft Tissue Release
Soft tissue release (STR) is a technique used to apply stretches to specific parts of a muscle rather than to the whole muscle. If there are areas of scar tissue, adhesions or extra tightness within an otherwise healthy muscle, or if dealing with clients who are hyper flexible, STR can be performed to reach those particular fibres or small areas not ordinarily released through more general stretches.

Muscle Energy Technique
Muscle Energy Technique (MET) is a technique used to apply full-length stretches to a muscle whilst also involving the nervous system. By engaging your client’s resistance, you are able to activate their central nervous system (CNS) thereby making the muscle relax and, ultimately, remember its new length as its correct length. This ‘re-education’ of the muscle creates longer lasting results from your treatment.
