Depletion of these nutrients can lead to imbalances within the body and if not addressed can evolve into a variety of health complaints such as IBS, candida overgrowth, hormone disruption, food intolerance or allergy, weight gain, depression or anxiety, poor immunity, and fatigue.
Chronic disease is on the increase, putting excessive strain on our current healthcare system, as the population continues to age our healthcare resources will continue to be stretched. Prevention is better than cure and by investing in your health today you stand a better chance of reducing chronic disease in the future.
As a Nutritional Therapist I apply the highly acclaimed and science based Functional Medicine model within my practices and as a result my job is to look beyond your symptoms to identify the route cause to your health complaint. Using specialised functional health test, the power of functional foods and in some cases high quality nutraceuticals, I help address nutritional deficiencies and support the body toward achieving and maintaining optimum health.
I run regular clinics in South Hampshire and cover Stubbington, Fareham, Gosport, Lee on the Solent, Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester and surrounding areas. Appointments can be arranged outside of usual clinic hours to accommodate those travelling from further afield.
