WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexology is a popular holistic therapy which can be traced back as far as Ancient Egypt. There are also links with the ancient Chinese therapy 'Acupuncture' involving energy lines and zones that link the hands and feet to parts of the body.
During a treatment, the feet will be worked on with specialised massage techniques. The practitioner may be able to feel reflex points corresponding to the parts of the body which may be out of balance. As a result of the treatment, the imbalances can be corrected, energy flow can be improved within the zones and the body can be returned to good working order.
Reflexology is a wonderfully relaxing treatment that encourages the body's own natural healing forces to maintain general better health and well-being.
