What is Herbal Medicine

Herbs have been used for healing by all peoples from ancient times right through to the present day. This use, spanning thousands of years, illustrates their efficacy and safety in ways no modern trial can emulate. The wealth of documentation from ancient times right through to the present day supports this.
This holistic approach is one that takes into consideration all aspects of the person past and present. That is not just the physical symptoms of the individual but they’re mental and emotional states as well as their spiritual needs and beliefs, as well as any family traits that might be relevant and where known.

Taking the holistic approach along with the support of natural healing herbs can create positive shifts that will change your life for the better. This effect if you allow it will ripple out shining this positive light in all aspects of your life.

Lomi Lomi

Lomi Lomi is Hawaiian touch medicine. It is an expression of love from the heart through the hands, gently touching your heart soul and spirit. One of the meanings of the word lomi is to take and turn, to shift. Through this expression of unconditional love a safe space is created allowing your energy shift and turn, releasing blocks, restoring harmony within your being allowing you to connect to who you truly are.

Heartworks Lomi Lomi Massage

Heartworks Lomi Lomi was founded by Sherman Dudoit, a Hawaiian teacher who has blended ancient and modern techniques to form a powerful integrated bodywork that is safe for all and has few if any known contra-indications.

The dance like movements, along with deep breathing leaves the practitioner in a clear meditative space and you in a state of peace. Kahi Loa

To the ancient Hawaiians everything in existence was alive and had an energy vibration or 'mana'. Without mana, nothing could be. Living their lives close to Nature they perceived themselves a part of it. They thought of all of life as One, made up of seven vital elements - fire, wind, water, stone, plants, animals and humans. With their deep understanding of the laws of nature they were able to invoke and utilise the spirit of each element and channel its mana through healing touch.
Kahi Loa means "Permanent Oneness". It is a shamanic form of Lomi Lomi massage done fully clothed without oil. The head to toe massage is performed in seven stages, on both the front and back of the body with the practitioner lightly raking, rolling, pinching, pressing, tapping, squeezing and sweeping their hands over the entire body while using visualisation techniques to invoke the elements.
What are the Benefits?
This action of working on the skin has a deep and profoundly relaxing effect on the muscles and bones, allowing toxins to be released on a physical mental and emotional level. The process encourages the production of endorphins or 'feel good factors' along with triggering the bodies own natural healing processes in an enviroment suported by the forces of nature. Leaving you feeling deeply relaxed with a wonderful sense of quiet inner calm.
