Welcome to Physiotherapy Sports Spinal Clinic
We have an excellent, well established clinic with over 12 years experience treating a wide range of injuries and conditions. We are based in Ampthill, in the heart of Mid-Bedfordshire in close proximity to Flitwick, Milton Keynes, Luton and Bedford.

Our team strive to make a difference to the well being of each patient through a thorough assessment and comprehensive on going treatment. The majority of our patients are struggling with aches and pains, recovering from surgery or looking to try and improve conditions that have plagued them for years.
About Our Clinic
Alison Chick & Joanne Randall met whilst working together at the Physiotherapy Department, Lister Hospital, Stevenage. Together they formed a strong friendship and true belief in imparting expert physiotherapy care.
Their paths were to continue from the NHS, into the private sector, where their care and knowledge was recognised both in the clinic setting and also on the sports field. They provided physiotherapy for the England Netball Squads and also for rugby and football teams, thus increasing their knowledge in sports injuries.
Increasingly, each felt they had the drive and potential to open a private physiotherapy clinic of their own, where each patient would be treated as an individual with specific care and needs. The aim was to give “hands on” care of the highest standards.
Their ideas developed into a firm business plan, and their dreamed was fulfilled in September 1997; when The Physiotherapy, Sports & Spinal Clinic, Ampthill, opened its door for the first time.
Reputation spread quickly about the standard of care that the clinic provided. The clientele list started to increase; patients told their GP’s about the treatment they had received and within a year people were being referred locally and also from the Milton Keynes, Luton and Bedford areas. This increase in patients quickly enabled the clinic to increase the services available.
In April 2009 the Clinic Partnership expanded. Alistair Shaw and Nick Watts, who have been working at the Physiotherapy Sports and Spinal clinic for a number of years, became Partners in the business.Alistair and Nick met whilst working together in the Physiotherapy Department at Bedford Hospital and have brought their extensive clinical experience and knowledge to the practice.
