Welcome to Yoga Reiki and Aeorobics

My heart lies in Natural Healing and the happiness and balance for other people. I have always been interested in how the body and mind works. Complete fitness is Cardiovascular, Flexiability and Strength. I teach Aerobics for the Cardiovascular and Strength.Yoga to increase flexiability, bringing balance to the body and mind. I have practiced and taught Yoga and Aerobics for many years and teach through my own classes as well as in local Health Clubs.

Whilst living in Spain for 18months I studied the spiritual lineage of Usui Reiki with a Reiki master up to level two. After going to Reiki meetings and exchanging Reiki I experienced the "Universal life force energy" REIKI.

I now practice Reiki from home and work for The Wellbeing Clinic in West Bridgford. Sharing the benefits and helping people find a new balance in thier everyday life. I am a "UK Reiki Federation Practitioner member.

What is Reiki?

Reiki means "life force energy" and is accessible to all and is available to you irrespective of your religious or spiritual beliefs. It is an ancient natural holistic hands on, healing practice. Reiki uses specific techniques for balancing the natural energy within the body. It touches the body on all levels - physical, mental and spiritual. A Reiki practitioner has been attuned by a Reiki Master and is able to channel this energy and use it for therapeutic purposes. It is not possible for us to give medical advice and the treatment is a complementary therapy that can work alongside any treatment offered by the medical profession.

What is Yoga

There are many different types of Yoga. Hatha Yoga is the type of Yoga I teach and is the most commonly practiced in the West. It is a combination of Asanas (postures) Pranayama (breathing) and Meditation (stilling the mind).

Yoga focuses on harmony between mind and body. Yoga derives its philosophy from Indian metaphysical beliefs. The word yoga comes from Sanskrit language and means union or merger. The ultimate aim of this philosophy is to strike a balance between mind and body and attain self-enlightenment. To achieve this, yoga uses movement, breath, posture, relaxation and meditation in order to establish a healthy, lively and balanced approach to life.
