Colonic Hydrotherapy is offered by a highly qualified and experienced nurse specialist in a hygienic and serene complementary clinic in Putney South West London.
As a Nurse/Therapist I employ a holistic approach to the colonic treatment which takes into account how diet ,exercise and lifestyle affect the way our bowels function.
As a species we tend to hold a lot of our emotions in our abdomen or gut, when stressed we get these emotional feelings of flight or fright which sadly a lot of us do not act on immediately . The result a bowel that tends not to work effectively i.e bouts of diarrhea or constipation or both!
By listening to our bodies and understanding the signals we could alleviate a lot of the learnt patterns. Diet is a very important component, by understanding the foods that cause us to bloat, produce excessive wind or get constipated we can eliminate them.Too little exercise affects the way our body assimilates and gets rid of its waste .Finally, our lifestyle has a major responsibility. How do we handle our stresses? Do we allocate time for winding down and spending quality time doing things that we enjoy?
