The Health Works is the leading complementary centre in East London.
We are a haven of calm and tranquillity in the bustling city, providing a wealth of complementary therapies. Where else can you get so many of your needs met? We have a wide variety of therapies for mental, emotional and physical health and wellbeing. They include acupuncture, homeopathy, osteopathy, counselling, coaching and many different types of massages. Yoga, Pilates and Alexander Technique lessons are held weekly, including ante and post natal. We are a specialist centre for pregnancy and baby activities.
We are a specialist centre for pregnancy and baby activities. We run a free Baby Clinic for pregnant women and new parents every Monday lunchtime, 12 – 1.30pm. We offer homeopathic advice on pregnancy, labour, colic, teething and many other ailments. Our Cranial Osteopath is on hand to advise about pregnancy aches and pains and the after effects of difficult births on new mothers and their babies. We offer natural inductions for overdue pregnancies and when the baby is born you can book up for one of our Baby Massage, Yoga, Pilates or Signing classes.
About Us
You can speak to one of our well-trained receptionists during these hours; they will be able to advise you on which treatment to choose if you are unsure. If you have any problem they will be happy to get a message through to Jo Redmond, the Director, who will contact you back as soon as possible.
You can book in for a free 15 minute consultation with any of our practitioners to see which therapy would suit you best. All our therapists are qualified, registered and insured and are hand picked from among the best professionals in their fields.
We accept payment with cheque or cash, but not cards. If you do not turn up for your appointment you will still need to pay for it, unless you give 24 hours notice of cancellation. This also applies to the Yoga and Pilates classes.
We sell Gift Vouchers which can be bought in person at the clinic or by post. Gift Vouchers are available for any amount and make a very welcome present.
