Established in 2002, Body Torque Personal Training and Massage Therapy has become one of Surrey’s elite health and fitness companies. Offering services such as a Personal Trainer, Massage, Pilates, Boxercise, Nutrition, Body Toning and much more.
Based in Surrey, covering areas including Guildford, Woking, Chobham, Pyrford, Send, West Byfleet and surrounding areas, (traveling further can be arranged), Body Torque can offer you a wide range of massage therapies including Aromatherapy, Indian Head, Swedish and Sports/Deep Tissue massage for a wide array of problems.
Body Torque also provides Personal Training to offer the support, motivation and inspiration needed to achieve success with exercise goals, whether that be outdoors, at home or with the use of our local gym facilities. Training styles vary to suit the client from the serious sports specific person to the new to/or reluctant exerciser and whether goals are short or long term with our knowledge and commitment, we can work together to achieve you’re own personal level of health, fitness and general well being.
Nutritional advice also forms part of the Personal Training package, but nutritional consultations are also available on a one-to-one basis.

I provide a no-obligation, free personal training consultation. This will give us the opportunity to meet each other to discuss your personal training elements such as health, fitness and lifestyle aims and objectives. I will be able to discuss with you how your personal training sessions will be structured to help you achieve these goals.
Personal Trainer Sessions in Surrey
After finding out a little bit about you and your personal training likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, aims and objectives, as your Personal Trainer I will devise the most effective training program for you to ensure that you undergo maximum calorie expenditure, but also ensure your underlying results such as muscle toning or body sculpting are achieved. Our personal training sessions can take place either outdoors, at your home or at my local gym facility in Woking.
Monitoring your progress can be achieved by either regular body composition testing for more accurate and specific results, or simply applying a clothes sizing test for others.
Resistance training is the key to not only achieving fat loss, but also functional training benefits, such as improved postural awareness, balance and coordination. Resistance training is known to burn more calories, if carried out at the right intensity, than cardio-vascular exercise. The more lean muscle mass we can obtain within our bodies limits, the more calories our bodies will burn due to an increased metabolic rate. By combining the two personal training elements, we can ensure the best all-round body conditioning.
Heart rate zone training will also form part of your personal training program. This will ensure you are working to your maximum capacity and correct resistance to burn calories efficiently.
As your Personal Trainer I will adjust your sessions on a regular basis which will ensure your body is challenged, which in turn will produce more effective and quicker results for you!

Massage can be used for relaxation or to relieve muscular tension/dysfunction and is beneficial to everybody from the sedentary person to top class athletes. Regular massage sessions can help maintain and rebalance muscle tension from overuse injuries and traumas and help repair damaged structures or connective tissues.
My extensive client base ranges from the sedentary person who is looking for relaxation to active exercisers and top class athletes such as marathon runners and cyclists, British Power Lifting record holders and Britain’s Strongest Man competitors. I also specialise in clients with postural problems as massage is known to relieve postural stresses.
Sports Massage
Sports Massage is a deep tissue massage used primarily to treat specific injuries or conditions. Using anatomical and physiological knowledge firm pressure is carefully applied to the client’s body to relieve physical, physiological and psychological stress or dysfunctions.
For Recovery – Possible damage and waste products can accumulate in the muscle after hard training or physical activity. Sports Massage stimulates blood circulation helping to remove waste products and repair damage more quickly which can lead to faster recovery and increased performance.
For General Health - Day to day activities such as using a PC, driving and poor posture throws the body out of its normal alignment which can lead to muscle tension and structural problems. Sports Massage can help realign muscle tissue, release tension and get the body back on track.
