SERVICES

Hello and Welcome!

I am a qualified professional psychologist, offering NLP psychotherapy and hypnotherapy for a wide range of problems, including: anxiety (panic attacks and phobias), depression, insomnia, relationship and dating issues, weight and smoking.

Hypnotherapy and NLP is a method helping you to utilise the vast resources available to the unconscious mind, is goal orientated and focuses on practical results.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

NLP is an approach to psychotherapy which was developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the mid 70's. NLP is the result of modelling the linguistic patterns of some of the most effective psychotherapists, most famously, but not only, the founder of modern hypnosis Milton Erickson. NLP is a method of modelling and as it’s result, it provides a collection of tools, strategies and approaches with the main focus of how to facilitate successful therapeutic change. The main focus is therefore not by providing superficial psychological insights or theories about one's personal problems, but actual change in behaviour, which make therapeutic sense.

NLP is goal orientated and the typical course of therapy is brief. NLP is closely related to hypnosis, but it can be used on it’s own, without the usual trance inductions hypnotherapists typically use.

Hypnosis

Hypnosis entails the induction as well as the utilisation of the trance state. It is an ancient method and ritual to facilitate the innate self-healing abilities of the human mind and body. Hypnosis facilitates human learning on a deep psycho-physiological level, helping to integrate and bridge the communication between the conscious mind, it’s needs and wishes with the non-conscious habitual processes and physiological responses.

Hypnosis is a pleasant natural state of altered conscious awareness, which everybody knows for example when getting lost in thought and daydream or when deeply involved in a book or film. The activities we like best and capture our interest most are often associated to a state of trance. It is an experience we naturally seek and has certainly nothing to do with brain-washing or some form of mind control.
