Shiatsu / Acupressure with Thai massage (tabletop)
Shiatsu is a form of traditional japanese bodywork or acupressure. It involves gentle finger pressure on acu points and gentle holding techniques.Some Thai massager techniques (tabletop) are included. Palms, fingers, elbows, knees and feet may be used to relax tight muscles. Stretches and joint rotations help loosen up the joints. Rocking and muscle release techniques are used along the meridians (energy lines) of the body. Shiatsu helps to rebalance the flow of Qi(energy) in the body through touch.
It is safe and available in pregnancy. Shiatsu inducing acupressure points can be used on the due date of the baby to help relaxation in labour.

Aromatherapy is the use of plant extract (essential oils) to improve health and emotional wellbeing and restore balance to the body. Massage involves the application of pressure (by kneading, petrissage, effleurage) to help ease muscular -skeletal problems and aids relaxation.

Reflexology, Pure indulgence and relaxation
Reflexology originated from the Egyptians and the Chinese. It moved into the west by Dr. Fitzgerald who discovered zone therapy. It is a massage to the feet which allows muscles to loosen up and let the blood circulate more freely.
Manipulation and massage is applied to reflex points on the feet stimulating the nervous system. Reflexology helps to counteract stress held in the body. It is believed that each reflex point represents a specific part of the body.

It is a form of Ayurvedic massage that has been used in India for thousands of years. It is both a stimulating and a relaxing treatment of the scalp, neck, face, shoulders and the upper back. Traditionally, oils are used to condition the hair, scalp and the skin.

I qualified from North Warwickshire college in 2004 with a 2 year Diploma in Holistic Therapy, which included Reflexology, Advanced Reflexology, Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy, Advanced massage techniques, Hot stone massage, Workplace massage, Bach flower remedies,
Level 3 Diploma in Indian head massage, Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, Reiki Level 1 and 2 and Thermal auricular therapy (Ear Candling).Deep- Tissue Massage
I graduated from a 3 year Diploma at The British School of Shiatsu-Do in London in 2010 where I studied Shiatsu, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zen theory and Anatomy and Physiology. Other related bodywork modules were fertility, pregnancy and childbirth, sports injuries and structural corrections.
In 2009 I completed a Certificate in Seated Acupressure with The British School Of Shiatsu-Do and a Certificate in Infant Massage Instruction with the FHT.
In line with my professional bodies requirements I participate in continued professional development CPD yearly; which in the past has included Table Top Thai Massage, Homeopathy workshop, Colour therapy, Aromatherapy in pregnancy and childbirth, Shiatsu neck and shoulders and Basic positional release Techniques.
This enables me to up date and modify treatments in line with current best practice in order to benefit my clients.
I have succesfully delivered wellbeing into the workplace offering taster sessions for the private and the corporate sector (Coventry, Nuneaton and Wolverhampton Council, Domestic and General and Catapillar logitics, etc)
