ESPA LIFE at Gleneagles - integrating wellness and luxury in the heart of Scotland

Gleneagles is a luxurious five star resort set in 850 acres of beautiful Perthshire countryside, in the heart of Scotland. The Spa at Gleneagles by ESPA is a unique destination spa offering a variety of holistic signature treatments alongside state of the art facilities.

ESPA LIFE at Gleneagles will combine a fully integrative approach to good health with functional medical testing alongside a world class spa experience, to be introduced in Autumn 2011.

Applicants for all positions must be legally allowed to work in the UK for a minimum of two years and therefore must possess an EU passport, dual citizenship or ancestry visa.




EXPERIENCED NATUROPATH REQUIRED


REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications
  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or relevant Degree in Naturopathy. We would also welcome applications from practitioners who qualified before formal diplomas were awarded.

  • Skills to include Naturopathy, Medical Herbalism, Homoeopathy, Nutrition (orthomolecular and diet), Iridology and Massage.

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience, made up of at least 3 full clinic days per week.

  • Strong working knowledge of functional medicine testing.

  • Understanding of TCM, Osteopathy and Physiotherapy with the ability to integrate Naturopathic treatment with these modalities.

  • In-depth awareness of Naturopathic detox principles with experience of running programmes in a clinical setting.

Qualities
  • Genuine interest to be employed as part of a team in a hotel spa in a permanent, full time position.

  • Flexible approach towards working hours, weekend work will be expected.

  • Excellent client care and professional standards.

  • Professional personal presentation.




UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED ACUPUNCTURIST


We are currently recruiting an experienced TCM/Acupuncture Specialist for a permanent, part time position (approx 3 days) that may increase to full time in the future.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture. We would also welcome applications from ‘Grandfathered practitioners’.
  • 5 years clinical experience, made up of at least 3 full clinic days per week.
  • Genuine interest to be employed as part of a hotel spa team in a part time position.
  • Excellent client care and professional standards.




UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED PHYSIOTHERAPIST /PERSONAL TRAINER


We are currently recruiting a passionate and enthusiastic Physiotherapist for a permanent, part time position (approx 3 days) that may increase to full time in the future.

REQUIREMENTS
  • BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy.
  • 2-3 years working experience with a strong knowledge of sports, injuries and rehabilitation.
  • Good understanding of Fitness, personal training and Osteopathy to integrate Physiotherapy treatment with these modalities.
  • Personal training skills/qualification would be essential
  • Genuine interest to be employed as part of a hotel spa team in a full time position
  • Excellent client care and professional standards
  • Professional grooming with excellent communication skills




UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED OSTEOPATH


We are currently recruiting an experienced Osteopath for a permanent, part time position (approx 3 days) that may increase to full time in the future.

REQUIREMENTS
  • BSc or BA (Hons) in Osteopathy. We would also welcome applications from ‘Grandfathered practitioners’
  • 5 years clinical experience, made up of at least 3 full clinic days per week
  • Strong working knowledge of cranio-sacral techniques
  • Good understanding of TCM/Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Physiotherapy and personal training with the ability to integrate these with Osteopathic treatment
  • Genuine interest to be employed as part of a hotel spa team in a full time position
  • Excellent client care and professional standards




Candidates must be available to commence work and training in July 2011. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the local area if not already residing there.
