What is Massage
Massage is one of the most ancient forms of therapy. It is a process of soft tissue manipulation. Where by using different techniques of stroking, kneading and pressing, the body’s tissues will help relieve pain, relax and stimulate.
The Benefits Of Massage

Mental and physical fatigue is relieved encouraging the mind and body to relax.
Muscles and joints become more supple and mobile.
Relieves soreness, stiffness and pain.
Improves circulation of oxygenated blood to muscles skin and other parts of the body, encouraging the healing process.

Remedial Massage
Is the assessment and diagnosis of muscular, skeletal conditions and injuries,
Treatments include massage, mobilizations, stretching and strengthening as well as other modalities such as electrotherapy (Ultrasound, Interferential Tens).
Remedial massage has been successful in treating conditions such as:- Frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, back, knee, hip and neck problems, carpal tunnel syndrome. Also pain management in conditions such as arthritis.
Sports Massage
Is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissues and is designed to assist in correcting the imbalances caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activities. Sports massage can be used prior to a sporting event to help enhance performance, and post event to aid recovery and prevent injury.
Therapeutic Massage
Is form of massage where the approach considers the person as whole. Taking into account Mind, Body and spirit.
Therapeutic massage is for the person who is looking for a stress relieving, relaxing experience.
The Session
I recommend one hour for the fist visit, this allows for consultation and assessment, where I will establish the cause of your symptoms and discuss a treatment plan.
Fees
Remedial Massage/Treatment allowing up to one hour.
£30 per session
Sports Massage
1hr- £30 30mins- £20
Therapeutic Massage
1hr- £30
If canceling an appointment please give at least 24hrs notice, if not a payment of half the normal price will be charged.
On- Site Massage
On site massage is available.
