We are a group of osteopaths who are all registered with the General Osteopathic Council. We have been established in Wetherby since 1984 and opened our new premises in York Road in 2003.

What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is the recognised and established science of human mechanics; a system of diagnosis and treatment which lays the main emphasis on the structural and mechanical problems of the body.
Osteopathy is a safe and natural way of diagnosing and treating a multitude of conditions that result in pain or discomfort.
It focuses mainly on the musculo-skeletal systems of the body (muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints etc). However, osteopathy is NOT confined to the study of backs, which is a common misconception - although osteopaths do treat a lot of them!
Cranial Osteopathy
A misleading term as the technique can actually be applied to any area of the body. The technique uses a highly trained sense of touch to identify and correct strain patterns at a deeper level.
It can be used to help a variety of problems such as blocked sinuses, migraines and problems in babies resulting from difficult births, when tensions in certain areas can result in symptoms otherwise attributable to colic or fretfulness etc.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is becoming an increasingly popular, safe and effective choice of treatment in the West and can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions.
