Physiotherapy Works Services
Manual Physiotherapy
Through continuous professional development we aim to adhere to the best evidence based practice. We use the most effective manual therapy techniques to suit the individual’s needs and goals. Specific exercise programmes are prescribed to the patient and self-management tips and ideas to help between physiotherapy sessions and future self care.
Ergonomic assessments
Having accredited qualifications from The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE), we are able to offer workstation assessments for employees, as well as written reports. Neck, Back and Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) are on the increase due to poorly set up workstations and inappropriate chairs and desks.
Having these types of assessments and modifications, as well as self management advice for the injury, can help the employee’s efficiency at work and prevents sickness absences.
Home Visits
Trying to make our services as convenient as possible, we can provide assessments and treatments in the comfort of your own home or at work. Visits can take up to one hour and involve a thorough assessment followed by a clinical diagnosis. Treatment is explained, discussed and agreed by both physiotherapist and patient. As treatment will involve manual therapy a private room is recommended.
