My main goals are to help you improve your quality of life and live relatively pain free and allow you to learn how best to manage your pain through education of causative stressful factors, Osteopathic treatment, corrective and functional exercise that can be in the form of either personal training or pilates, lifestyle changes & good sensible nutrition.
The main clinic is based in Romford, Essex everyday except Wednesdays where I practice in Hockley Essex. Appointment times vary across the 2 Essex practices, so it is always advisable to call for a specific time. I practice mostly Weekdays,Evenings and Weekends including Sundays mornings.
Consultation & Treatment
During osteopathy consultation, many questions are asked about the presenting complaint. These questions will involve what:- Type of pain you are experiencing
- Type of onset,( ie sudden / gradual)
- Aggravating and relieving factors
- Any Associated symptoms such as leg, groin or abdominal pains
- General health
- Diet & lifestyle are just a few
If treatment is appropriate for osteopathy the next stage is the examination to confirm or deny the facts retrieved from the consultation. A diagnosis is made and treatment commences specific to the problem whether the problem is local or emerging from a distant area.
The average treatments are approx 5-6, but of course this does largely depend on the nature of the problem, type of pain, age, & physical condition.
