ABOUT KINBURN | ST. ANDREWS
Kinburn is situated right in the heart of St. Andrews, which is sometimes referred to as the ‘Spiritual Capital of Scotland’. From the scenic beaches to the cathedral ruins, it is a place unlike any other.
With a studio to facilitate classes, there is no better place to experience intensive and thorough teaching in small groups (10 max). Kinburn is also run as a luxury four-star guest house, and is exclusively available to course guests during their stay. Please note that if none of the course dates suit you, Kinburn may be able to arrange alternative dates or private teaching – get in touch for more information on this.
WHAT WE OFFER
Locally, Kinburn provides the community with reiki treatments, mindfulness meditation classes and group sessions.
Residential retreats are also available throughout the year with a whole range of courses on offer. The schedule includes all levels of Usui and Karuna Reiki – up to Master Teacher level, as well as intensive Zen mindfulness meditation courses for both Health and Wellbeing, and for Insight. Angel Workshops are also due to take place. During the various courses, additional knowledge that has been gained in other facets of the teachers’ interests will be incorporated to fully broaden and enhance your spiritual journey.
REIKI COURSES
Kinburn offers the full range of Reiki courses, from Reiki 1 beginners to Reiki Master Teacher. Courses are taught by two teachers and are limited to a maximum of ten students. In this way you can be assured that you will receive thorough and intensive teaching, with individual support. Our courses focus a lot of time on practical skills so you can really get to grips with the new techniques you will be learning.
LOCAL: If you would like to learn how to use Reiki yourself, I offer a 4-hour course in self-Reiki, including a short Reiki treatment, teaching on the background of Reiki, an attunement to the energy, and how to use the energy. This course can be arranged at any time, and can be taught one-to-one or in a small group. £95pp.

MEDITATION
Kinburn teaches Zen Mindfulness Meditation Courses. These are offered as an intensive 3-day retreat, or as a 4 or 8-week course.

ANGEL WORKSHOPS
Angels are with us every day of our lives. Angels are there to guide us and love us unconditionally. This workshop helps us attune with that love and guidance. This workshop will be held in a safe teaching and learning environment and will use a variety of meditations, visualisations and exercises to connect with Angels and Archangels.

Both Elaine and Lyndsey will be taking the courses, and both have qualifications in:
Usui Reiki Master/Teacher Level (4)
Usui Reiki Practitioners
Zen Mindfulness Meditation Teachers
Elaine also holds an internationally accredited qualifications as a Karuna Reiki Master, and a Diana Cooper Angel Workshop Teacher.
