Atrial fibrillation is an abnormal heart rhythm in which the upper chambers of the heart quiver instead of beating normally. Symptoms of atrial fibrillation include palpitations, dizziness, fainting, weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, and angina. Treatment options include medication, defibrillation, surgery and pacemakers.
