What is Reflexology

Reflexology originated from Egypt and was then practiced in both China and India, it is an holistic therapy that treats the whole body just from working on the feet. It’s extremely relaxing and by working on the reflexes on the feet it releases any blockages in energy. When energy flows freely it maintains our physical and mental well being. It improves our circulation and tunes the body and mind, so we become well balanced (homeostasis).

Every area on the foot is connected to all the organs and glands in the body. The whole foot is a map of your body. Many people have regular sessions to maintain that well being. Reflexology is a gentle treatment and non intrusive. It’s particularly helpful in alleviating pain and promoting relaxation.
