Aromatic medicine, the ancient beginnings of the art of aromatherapy, was recorded in both Egypt and India more than 4,000 years ago. The Egyptians used aromatic plants to create massage oils, medicines, embalming preparations, skin care products, fragrant perfumes and cosmetics. Plant aromatics were also utilized in India as part of the ancient medical practice known as Ayurveda. Many of these practices are still in existence today. At the beginning of this century, particularly in France and England, a movement by noted doctors and scholars in the naturopathic and medical communities prompted a reawakening to the benefits of natural medicine and aromatherapy. Today in England and the United States, aromatherapy is a commonly accepted alternative medicine. In France, it is common to find doctors who practice aromatherapy, pharmacies that sell essential oils and health insurance companies that reimburse for treatments using these approaches.
Ayurveda is a holistic medical science aimed at maintaining good health through disease prevention, and also treating disease and emotional disorders. These are carried out by entirely natural means using the 5 approaches (or tools) of Ayurveda, namely Diet, Herbs, Lifestyle, Yoga and Massage.

This training is endorsed by leading medical practitioners; and by the independent bodies who oversee quality and standards for the UK health and fitness industry.
Cranio Sacral Therapy (Biodynamic) (CST(B)) is an exceptionally gentle yet extremely powerful hands-on therapy which is holistic in its approach. Working at the deepest levels, CST(B) engages with every aspect of an individual’s being – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It works with the fundamental life forces that are present within all of us to establish a healthy balanced underlying state, enabling the body to utilise its own potential to self-heal.
The work sets about change in the body and the body then takes over and healing takes it’s natural course. Many of the gentle moves a Bowen Therapist makes are made over recognised trigger points, acupuncture points and meridians or on specific points on muscles and joints associated with the lymphatic system, muscle reflexes and balance. Bowen works primarily, (but not exclusively) with the fascia – the web of connective tissue that “wraps” the whole body. One of the most profound effects Bowen can have is shifting the ANS (Autonomic Nervous System), which controls over 80% of bodily functions, releasing stress at a deep level. As a holistic therapy the whole person is treated rather than just a condition , but there are specific procedures also used to help with certain issues. e.g. frozen shoulder, knee pain, ankle pain, jaw pain.
Is a talking therapy that helps you to change how you think (‘Cognitive’) and what you do (‘Behaviour’). It focuses more on present problems and difficulties than the past and it looks for ways to improve how you live your life now with a positive approach. CBT can help you to make sense of overwhelming problems by breaking them down into smaller parts; this makes it easier to see how they are connected and how they affect you.
Chiropractic is concerned with removing inhibition from the nervous system, therefore allowing it to operate to its’ optimum. This inhibition usually arises in the skeleton, mostly in the spine which houses the spinal column. It is also frequently caused by tightness in the muscles that surround the nerves. By assessing and correcting skeletal misalignment, and helping the patient to find better ways of using their body so as to avoid replicating the symptoms, the chiropractor strives to release this skeletal inhibition.
Through conversation, clients are helped to understand why they find themselves in their current situation and then to find strategies, motivations and focus to design and move towards new, better situations. Coaches work in various ways, but pure coaching is not mystical, it’s down-to-earth. It’s primarily cognitive – in that its main tool is the client’s own thinking mind. But it is also informed by the unconscious and emotional components of the human psyche.
Coaching is primarily focused on the present and the future. It may be necessary to look back to find the root causes of some unhelpful thinking patterns, and then untie some knots, but then we come back to the “Where are you now?”, “Where do you want to go?” and “Who/Where do you want to be!”.
The key difference between Counselling and Psychotherapy lies in the recommended time required to see benefits. Counselling usually refers to a brief treatment that centres around behaviour patterns. Psychotherapy focuses on working with clients for longer-term and draws from insight into emotional problems and difficulties. There are many different types of Psychotherapy; Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic – to name but a few. Choosing a therapist can feel daunting but you need to find someone who you are comfortable with to talk about yourself and your concerns. The therapist will then advise as to whether you will benefit from Counselling or Psychotherapy.
At your first appointment there will be an initial consultation where your personal details will be taken and your specific treatment requirements discussed. For the treatment you will be asked to lie on a raised bed where you will be made comfortable and asked to relax. Small crystals will be chosen and placed on and around your body. You will be talked though a guided meditation, and the practitioner may place her hands gently upon the crystals. There will be no need to remove any clothing, other than shoes. However, comfortable clothes are recommended so that you can relax without restriction. After the treatment your experiences can be discussed if you wish.

This treatment involves a hollow candle, made of herbal extracts, being placed into each ear. The lit candle creates a mild suction action to help draw out impurities from the ear and, together with the slight warmth, stimulates blood circulation and equalises the pressure within the head and ears. This gives rebalancing health benefits to the ears, nasal cavities and respiratory system.
Emotional Freedom Technique (or EFT) is an energy meridian therapy. It is sometimes also known as Psychological or Emotional Acupressure as it involves tapping with the fingers on the body’s meridian points to release energy blocks from the system.
All emotional and mental issues (and most, if not all, physical ones) are created by an imbalance or ‘short-circuit’ in the meridian pathways. Everything we ever experience is recorded in our body, much as on a PC hard drive and the uncomfortable, traumatic or unhelpful experiences can create these imbalances. EFT involves tapping on the meridian points whilst stating the problem out loud. This process clears the imbalance, permanently releasing the issue from the body’s energy system.

Homoeopathy is a system of medicine which is based on treating the individual with highly diluted substances given in powder or tablet form, which trigger the body’s natural system of healing. A Homoeopath will match the most appropriate medicine to the patient according to the individual’s symptoms. The medicines are safe, natural and very effective. They have been tried and tested for well over 200 years.
The medicines are palatable and without harmful side effects. They can also be used safely in conjunction with conventional medicines.
Hypnosis is an inferred psycho physiological state characterised by increased suggestibility and is an altered state of consciousness.
Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy in which the use of hypnosis constitutes the core of the treatment. Although healing by ‘trance’ state, or an altered state of awareness, is amongst the oldest phenomena known to man and is found in virtually every culture throughout the world, the term ‘hypnosis‘- from the Greek ‘hypnos’ meaning sleep – was only coined circa 1840 by Dr James Braid, a Scottish Physician, and remains a somewhat less than accurate description of the experience, as the hypnotic state, in most respects, is entirely unlike sleep.
A truly holistic hands on drug free natural health therapy.
Kinesiology uses muscle testing to identify imbalances a person has by monitoring their ability to hold their muscles against light pressure. Each muscle is related to an organ and an energy pathway called a meridian. Together the muscle, organ and meridian form a circuit. If there are chemical, emotional, structural or energetic stresses, weakening the circuit the muscle test will feel weak indicating an imbalance.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is recommended for people who want to reduce oedema, puffiness or swelling. It is especially useful for individuals, who seem to suffer regularly from common illnesses like colds and flu and those who have sedentary lifestyles.
In today’s western culture diet can also stress the lymphatic system with excess wastes, toxins and lack of fluid contributing to a sluggish lymphatic system.
Patients can benefit from Lymphatic Drainage Massage as part of a detoxification program leading to improved energy an increase in cellular oxygenation and enhanced immunity. The aim of the massage is to move fluid from the swollen area into an area where the lymphatic system is working normally.
A therapeutic massage combined with selected essential oils makes Aromatherapy an excellent aid in countering the effects of stress and inducing relaxation. Massage improves the blood circulation in several ways without putting additional strain on the heart. It helps the flow of blood through the veins and also stimulates the nerves which control the blood vessels. It has the added benefit of relaxing tense muscles and tight connective tissues which may have been constricting blood vessels and thus enabling blood to flow more freely. It is for this reason that soothing massage helps reduce emotional tension; it induces relaxation and calms stress-related cardio-vascular conditions.
A revitalising holistic massage of the Marma (Energy) Points to release blocked energy, thereby creating balance and aligning the body’s healing energies. In Ayurvedic massage, applying soothing warm oils infused with herbs and balancing essential oils is the ultimate form self-love. The ancient Sanskrit word for this is Snehana which means ‘to apply love’. The benefits of massage has long been known to be healing for the body, mind and spirit. A massage in the morning, however brief, will enhance sleep, lubricate stiff painful joints, rejuvenate skin, keeping it supple and youthful, balance the mind and emotions, improve circulation, correct afflictions of the nervous system, improve eyesight, detoxify the body, combat fatigue and increase longevity.
The style of massage is tailored to your requirements and as your requirements change, so the massage type and style change as well.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue, that can sometimes contain knots causing pain and restrictions in a person’s normal range of movement. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement. To do this, the massage therapist uses a technique known as trigger pointing in which painful knots or trigger points are treated with compression.
E-sen-cia Massage Therapy
This tailor made massage has been developed after training with many teachers and therapists from around the world over a period of more than 25 years. The therapist tunes into your energy to realign, de-stress and relieve tension. Internal organs can also benefit from massage as they share neurological pain pathways with muscles, bones, and nerves; therefore improve symptoms associated with the functioning of both the organ and the muscles. This massage combines meridian, deep tissue, Swedish, lymphatic drainage techniques and Moxibustion, a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials called ‘moxa’ are burned near the surface of the skin using a roller. This roller is used along certain meridians on the body to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi, which will help you feel re-energised, healthier and well balanced. Aches and pains are alleviated and you feel taller and stretched out.
Holistic massage is intuitive and treats the individual as a whole, with flowing movements that are generally slower and meditative bringing the client’s attention inwards and to what the massage may be revealing to them in their physical and emotional responses. A caring and therapeutic massage will promote feelings of deep relaxation with the para-sympathetic nervous system working to help the client to let go of mental and physical stress: specific areas of muscular tension can be relieved with deeper work and a more technical approach when necessary. Quality of touch is the key to creating the alchemy of this healing and rejuvenating treatment.
Indian Head Massage
This massage concentrates predominately on the head and hair, however techniques often include the neck, shoulders and upper arms. The head, neck and shoulders are important energy zones within the body. If you are feeling stressed or angry, tension tends to accumulate. This tension later rears its’ ugly head in the form of stiff neck and shoulders, eye strain and sometimes even hair loss. Indian Head massage involves working with a firm yet gentle rhythm to help unknot blockages and relieve the uncomfortable build-up of tension. As well as working physically, this is a holistic therapy which works on an emotional level too, calming the spirit, promoting relaxation and relieving stress.
A Reiki massage is exactly as it sounds, it is the combination of Reiki and massage energies to produce a very connective massage. A Reiki massage can vary considerably to suit your preferences. You may choose to have more Reiki than traditional massage, some chakra energy work combined with some light massage producing great skin and facial stretches. Fantastic and very releasing! This type of treatment is similar to a Reiki treatment and you will be fully clothed throughout. Of course, if you prefer a more traditional approach to massage, you could have a normal massage treatment with Reiki to compliment, very relaxing!
Swedish Body Massage
Swedish Body Massage is the use of the hands to manipulate the soft tissue of the body. A range of techniques are used such as effleurage, petrissage, vibration, friction, rolling and slapping. All of which form part of a Swedish massage. These techniques can reduce micro spasm in muscle fibres and separate fibres that have become adhered together allowing greater movement and releasing pressure on trapped capillaries and nerve endings. Aches and pains can be combated, range of movement can be improved, and a general feeling of relaxation aids the whole healing process. It is so popular that many other types of massage derive from Swedish massage and its techniques. Due to the variety of strokes used in Swedish massage, treatments tend to be very varied, and can range from being very light and superficial to something deeper.
Warm Bamboo Massage
Warm Bamboo Massage is a deeply relaxing therapy that uses Warm Bamboo sticks of varying lengths to massage the body in a specific way to bring a feeling of blissful relaxation. Apart from the fact that it feels divine, the Bamboo Massage can relieve deep muscular tension. Thought to have originated from Asia this treatment is fairly new to the UK, but is rapidly growing due to its positive effects, partly due to the warm elements of the treatment that help melt away aches and pains. Each client is different so the pressure used during the massage is adapted so that a complete therapeutic experience can be provided to relieve those tight muscles, aches, pains and day to day stress on the body.
The techniques and rhythms of facial massage are smooth and applied with the pressure most suited to client needs, as sensory nerves can be soothed or stimulated as appropriate. There are numerous beneficial effects such as improved skin-tone, relaxation of tense muscles, top loose layers of skin are desquamated (shed) exposing fresh skin cells, and the stimulation balances the natural oils and improves the appearance. The increased temperature of the skin dilates the blood capillaries improving the skin colour and relaxing the pores – this aids the absorption of massage products, softening the skin. Ideally facial massage should be preceded by a Skincare cleanse, tone, exfoliate and mask application routine to obtain the best possible results.
The underlying skin type is genetically determined, but you can assist the physiological characteristics by using the correct products and caring for your skin in the best possible way. Holistic beneficial results are obtained by using quality Aloe Vera based products (which are adaptagenic and have an ingredient known as lignin to penetrate deep into layers of skin). Cleanser, toner, exfoliator, day and night moisturising creams, serums, make-up remover, face masks and eye creams are all available for Holistic Skincare facial treatments and to purchase for use at home. This excellent skincare range intensely nourishes the skin, providing a superb smooth base on which to apply your make-up.

Nutritional therapy is a science-based field of healthcare that uses nutrition to support and manage a wide range of health concerns ranging from fatigue, weight management and stress through to diagnosed medical conditions. Nutritional therapy aims to improve health and well-being by encouraging the body’s natural ability to heal and regenerate. It addresses the underlying causes of a health issue, rather than just treating symptoms. Nutritional therapy can help you if you want to take positive action in managing your health through making better dietary and lifestyle choices.
Although you may be seeking support with a specific health issue, you may also experience other benefits; such as increased energy, clearer skin, improved mental clarity, better quality of sleep, better resistance to infection and disease, effortless weight loss and enhanced well-being. Back to TOP
Past Life Regression
Our character today represents a culmination of all the experiences we have had over numerous lifetimes. These past life events affect many aspects of our behaviour, and in some cases, past deeply emotional traumas can cause psychological problems, which can not be cured with ordinary psychotherapy. Past life therapy can release these repressed thoughts and bring about a beneficial change.
Exploring your past lives offers a whole new dimension to the understanding of your own character. You suddenly realise for the first time why you are drawn to certain places or have a particular interest in something.
Each psychic surgeon that I have met, or heard about, all work in a different way. However the intention is, and should always be, to take the client from a place of imbalance to a place of balance, and to encourage healing within the body at all levels.
When I perform psychic or energy surgery, I have a Chinese guide who initially takes over my hands and assesses the client I am working with. After this, I usually find that there is a sequence of up to 5 different Spirit doctors who work through me, depending on what needs to be done.
If it is a complex problem, then one Spirit doctor works with the client first to create a very relaxed state (almost like having an anaesthetic). Then, another Spirit doctor steps in to do the surgery. There are no instruments used and clothes do not need to be removed.
Then a third Spirit doctor may then work with the client to change the memory within the tissues and muscles on a deeper level, to allow the healing to continue on a conscious and unconscious level.
There is a Russian and also a German doctor who both deal with imbalance in the spine and joints. They will also look at any unconscious emotional ‘bruising’ which restricts the natural healing of the body.
Reflexology is over 5,000 years old and has origins in China and Egypt, where pressure therapies were recognised to have therapeutic benefits and more importantly, help prevent disease. The earliest evidence of Reflexology is a wall painting in the tomb of an Egyptian physician ‘Ankmahor’ at Saqqara, dated around 2500-2300 BC. Foot reflex therapy was not introduced to the Western World until the twentieth century when the Americans began to develop zone therapy, which had been practised by the Europeans as far back as the fourteenth century, into Reflexology as we know it today.

Anyone can benefit from Reiki it is gentle by nature and very relaxing. It can complement and enhance other forms of treatment.
piritual Counselling is an intuitive form of listening and understanding at the Soul level. It is holistic and encompasses not only universal energies but personal energy systems; intuitive psychic realities, karmic issues, subconscious and super-conscious states of awareness, metaphysical experiences, spiritual theology, spiritual presence and higher-self cosmic connections.
Where traditional Counselling focuses on issues that are most often rooted from the past and discusses ways to find solutions and overcome behaviour patterns; the Souls perception is vastly different and a good Spiritual intuitive will not only enable you to look at the wider universal collective perspective but it enhances your Divine gifts and challenges. Healing on all levels can be found; emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
