Welcome to Eleanor Davies Acupuncture

Traditional Treatment for Today's World

Eleanor Davies originally trained as a therapeutic radiographer and worked in the Beatson Oncology centre in Glasgow. She began her Acupuncture training in 2000 at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York, gaining a diploma in Acupuncture and a certificate in Acupressure massage. In 2004 she became a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). The BAcC ensures that all members have completed sufficient training and are insured, they also set down strict codes of conduct and ethics which members have to adhere to.

Eleanor has since gone on to complete post graduate training in fertility and IVF with Jill Glover and Zita West. In 2006 she was awarded a Masters (MSc) in Acupuncture, her research looked at the effectiveness of acupuncture in cancer care. Most recently she has completed an Advanced Diploma in Oriental Bodywork (Tui Na) with Nick Hudis.

In January 2009 Eleanor became a Zita West affiliated acupuncturist. This enable Eleanor to provide her fertility and pregnancy clients with access to all the services and products that Zita West provides at a reduced rate. Eleanor also completes regular training days with Zita covering all aspects of fertility and pregnancy.
