Yoga: There is so much more to Yoga than a flexible toned body and new found strength. Yoga is about a balance between the body and mind, creating a whole person with inner confidence and a clarity that infiltrates into every aspect of one’s daily life. The discipline of the ancient art of the asanas (postures) and perfected breathing techniques leaves one feeling revitalised and focussed. In a hectic world in which people seldom have enough time to give themselves the love and time they deserve, Yoga holds the key to a balanced state of well being.

Yoga is a practical system that builds flexibility, stamina, endurance, balance, concentration and mental clarity. Most important, it reduces stress.
Yoga keeps the joints loose and muscles relaxed, toning internal organs, increasing circulation without creating fatigue.
By releasing emotional and physical tension, it liberates vast resources of energy. Breathing exercises revitalise the body and help to control the mind, leaving you calm and refreshed.
For over 3,000 years people have been benefiting from yoga. You don’t have to be flexible or strong. And you’ll soon find flexibility develops with practice.

Pregnancy Yoga:Pregnancy is a wonderful time and yoga is a beautiful way for a pregnant woman to allow herself the opportunity to connect inwards with herself and her baby. Whether you are new to yoga or an accomplished student it is suitable for anyone embarking on this journey.
Yoga during pregnancy helps the body to develop flexibility and strength and deal with the many changes taking place both physically and emotionally.
The classes guide and help pregnant women to work with their bodies safely, helping to minimise any problems associated with labour and preparing them for childbirth.

The classes aim to create a beautiful and nurturing atmosphere where women can come to listen and /or share their experiences, anxieties and questions.

Postnatal Yoga: Postnatal yoga is a brilliant way to come back in to your body post birth. It gives you some wonderful tools to nurture yourself and your baby, as well as starting to reconnect to your new body.
Babies are completely welcome at this class.

Sessions can be designed specifically for you (or you and your groups needs) and will focus on exercises for body types, taking into consideration fitness level, stress level, and personal health and goals.

One 2 One sessions

Private sessions can be a great opportunity to bring the ancient practices of Yoga into your life.

Private sessions can be a really great way to get more from your practice. They are suitable for everyone and anyone, whether you are a beginner, an experienced yogi, pregnant, in your postnatal period or if you are working with an injury, each session can be tailored to your own needs.

Classes are private and confidential, and save you the awkwardness of doing yoga in front of strangers at a gym or any other crowded facility…. and you’ll get more hands on attention than you would ever get at a public class.

Private Group sessions
Alternatively you can have a private group session giving you the opportunity to work with one of our teachers in a very small group. The group could be you and your family, a couple of your friends or even colleagues in your work place.

Why Private?
These sessions are especially useful for the following:
Beginners
Pregnant women
Post Natal women
Those wishing to take their existing yoga practice further
If there is something you want to work towards, maybe a particular group of asana’s or more attention on the meditation or pranayama practices.
