Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word. Rei means “universal wisdom”, Ki means “life energy”. Reiki is therefore vital life energy guided by universal wisdom.

Reiki heals mind, body and spirit, releases stress and emotional blocks, clears the mind, develops a positive attitude, increases and balances energies. Reiki helps the body to heal itself at root cause.

Hopi Ear Candling

Hopi ear candles have been used by many civilisations. Traditionally, shaman healers and ancient wall paintings showed their importance in initiation rituals and healing ceremonies of the fire clan used the candles.

Hopi ear candles can be considered to be a classic clearance therapy and may be used for many problems relating to the ear and head.

Stone Massage

Stone Massage Therapy has been used in many different cultures for many years. Healers used rocks from the river beds and warmed them either in hot coals or hot water. Placing the hot stones on cloth on the body and arranging them along the energy centres of the body would help to relax the muscles and reduce pain or discomfort, boosting a healing process.

The placing of the stones can be followed by a massage which can be deeper and more intense as heat penetrates the body and relaxes the muscles.

Hot Stone Therapy can help in the treatment of the following problems; muscular aches, pains, and strains, rheumatic and arthritic conditions, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, back pain, and insomnia. It also helps to improve circulation and can help reduce stress, anxiety, tension and depression.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a complementary therapy stimulating “the whole body”. The origins of Reflexology are from ancient China and it is practiced in many countries throughout the world today.

Foot Reflexology is the stimulation of reflexes in the feet. The aim of the treatment is to restore nature’s balance, by stimulating the body’s natural healing process. This induces mental and physical relaxation and helps relieve stress, tension and pain. It also allows the body to naturally reduce toxins and impurities.

This treatment helps fertility problems, labour pains, assists through pregnancy, stress, relaxation, sleep problems, helps to fight off colds, improves circulation, and boosts the immunity system.

Indian Neck & Head Massage

Popular for over 1,000 years on the Indian sub-continent, this relaxing, convenient and immediate treatment relieves stress in minutes. The energy centres of the neck, head and shoulders are gently, firmly and rhythmically massaged until tension releases and eases away.

Excellent for eye and driving strain, headaches, restoring joint movement and assisting concentration, it also tones up muscles. With optional special oils, it can stimulate and nourish hair roots, improving hair texture and even reducing hair loss.

This massage can be done fully-clothed and seated, making it ideal for those who have problems with lying down.

Holistic Massage

The effects of massage are physical, physiological and psychological. Massage of all types can improve circulation, relax muscles, aid digestion and speed up the elimination of waste products by stimulating the lymphatic system.

It can aid and activate the body’s own healing processes and boost the immune system, helping to prevent disease and injury, and accelerate recovery rates.

Psychologically, massage brings a marvellous feeling of well-being and vigour. The sensation of touch, and being cosseted and cared for, generates positive mood enhancement and stability.

Holistic Facial

Holistic Facials use organic products and pure essential oils blended to meet the needs of your skin. A holistic facial includes facial massage techniques, lymphatic drainage and accupressure points. A deep cleanse, exfoliation & tone will be followed by a relaxing massage which will help improve circulation and texture of the skin. To encourage relaxation and stress relief, pressure point massage will balance and stimulate the body's energy.

Sports Massage

Sports massage therapy helps to alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body's soft tissues during physical activity. Where minor injuries and lesions occur, due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively.

This treatment is not just for the sports person: anyone can benefit from sports massage, including people in physically demanding jobs and those not quite so obvious (occupational, emotional and postural stress may produce many similar characteristics to sports injuries).

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a combination of hypnosis and therapy. It is the process of inducing highly focused or very relaxed daydream like states which allow the client to be receptive to positive thoughts & suggestions in order to produce the desired change in the clients behaviour, feelings, and thoughts.
