About

My belief is that people should do the type of work that they enjoy and for which they have a real vocation; in this way they will deliver to the best of their ability.

This is how I started, moving from a career as an economist, trying various roles in administration, sellings, gardening and cooking in restaurants before finding my true passion – Massage Therapy!

In 4 years, I accumulated over 4300 hours of practice in massage, having become Absolute Champion of Moldova (Beginners) 2nd International Championship in Cosmetology, Applicative Esthetics and SPA Massage BEAUTYPROF 2014.

Currently, I am practicing full-time massage therapy. My practice is based at Clifton Road Chiropractic Clinic and at Oasis Beauty Center.

Services

Sports/Deep Tissue Massage

Many people who are not sporty at all benefit from a Sports massage treatment, especially people who work long hours at their workstation, people who drive a lot, gardeners, walkers, in fact anyone who exercises, or seeks improvement in their general fitness and health can benefit from a sports massage treatment.

This type of massage is good for me?

If you suffer from:

  • Back pain (upper and lower)
  • Headaches
  • Hip pain
  • Posture problems
  • Joint or ligament pain
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Shoulder pain
  • Muscular pain & aches
  • Sciatica.
  • Sports Injuries
  • Tennis / Golfers elbow

Then this type of massage can help you, even if you are not a sporty person.

In my treatments, I’m using a combination of Sports massage, Deep tissue, and Swedish massage, in this way gradually I can build less painful treatment with better results.

Techniques applied will begin with gentle effleurage (smoothing) to warm up the muscle before deeper techniques are applied.

Sports massage therapy is a deeper tissue massage than a Swedish Body Massage. During the session, you will be asked about applied pressure.

Sports massage is a great therapy that can be used to help prevent minor muscular injuries, it is also excellent therapy to help the sports person prepare their body for the rigors of training, or for a sporting activity too.

What are the effects of sports/deep tissue massage?

  • Improve circulation and lymphatic flow
  • Assist in the removal of metabolic waste
  • Sedate or stimulate nerve endings
  • Increase or decrease muscle tone
  • Increase or decrease muscle length
  • Remodel scar tissue when required
  • Assist in mental preparation for sporting participation

Visceral Massage (Abdominal)

“Viscera” relates to the internal organs of the body, such as the liver, kidneys and intestines. Visceral Manipulation is a gentle manual therapy that aids your body’s ability to release restrictions and unhealthy compensations that cause pain and dysfunction.

How Visceral Massage is done?

Abdominal muscles are massaged first until they’re relaxed enough to permit massage of the organs. Viscera is then massaged to relieve tension, and to gradually separate adhesions. No sudden movements are used. Lying with your knees and hips bent creates slack in the abdominal muscles, allowing deeper treatment.

As we age, our skin loses the ability to replenish lost cells, which results in sagging skin and wrinkles. While a set of anti-ageing moisturisers is a good place to start when you notice the first signs of fine lines, a facial massage will really get your skin back to it’s beautiful best.

How does it work?

By relaxing muscles and connective tissue, massaging the face softens expression-induced lines around your eyes, lips and brows, helps expel acne-causing toxins and de-puffs and brightens the eye area.

It also increases circulation, oxygenating the blood and encouraging the presence of fresh, healing red blood cells.

Benefits of facial massage:

  • Give our face glow and tone,
  • Gives a relaxing feeling,
  • Relieves tension,
  • Promotes good circulation of the blood to your face,
