HYDROTHERM MASSAGE Hydrotherm is a system of warm water filled cushions that allow you to receive a full body massage, including the back, while lying on your back! This unique, three-dimensional massage is a truly holistic experience. Relaxing the mind body and spirit.
If laying face down during a massage is uncomfortable for you then this is the perfect treatment.
The cushions and the lumber support under the knees help to encourage correct spinal alignment.
The warmth of the water quickly starts to improve blood circulation helping to relax tense and aching muscles.
Pressure of the massage can be adjusted to suit the client.
A Hydrotherm massage is truly heavenly!
A 90-minute treatment is required for you to experience a full body massage including feet and the scalp and targeting any problem areas.
A 60-minute treatment can target specific areas of tension that are important or preferred by you.
A 30-minute back treatment is also available.
MASSAGE DURING PREGNANCY As an expectant mother you may experience mood swings, back pain, aching muscles, tiredness, leg swelling and more. By choosing a Hydrotherm massage during pregnancy these unwanted side effects may be reduced.
You will be supported safely and comfortably on the Hydrotherm cushions with no need to move during the treatment. This will give you time to connect with your changing body, emotions and your baby, as well as preparing your body and mind for birth.
You can be confident that I have received specific training in Hydrotherm massage during pregnancy and will make sure that you and your baby are in safe hands.
Treatments can commence after the 12th week of pregnancy right through to full term.

AROMATHERAPY The healing power of essential oils have been used for thousands of years. Many have antiseptic and antibacterial qualities, some can stimulate and regenerate while others are known to sedate and calm the body and mind. Many of the oils are excellent for reducing stress related problems.
Massage allows the essential oils to be absorbed through the skin to reach the blood stream. They act on your muscles and other body systems. At the same time the smell of the oils has an effect on your feelings.
As a holistic therapist the main aim during any of the treatments is for you to totally relax, giving the body the ideal opportunity to begin the healing process. Enjoying the aroma of the therapeutic essential oils which are being absorbed by the body, lying on the nurturing comfort of the Hydrotherm system, the healing touch of massage incorporated with the intention of Reiki can really achieve this goal.
All clients have the opportunity to enjoy the benefit of essential oils, at no extra cost, if it is appropriate.

REIKI Reiki (pronounced ray key) is a very gentle yet powerful form of hands on healing. The Reiki (universal life force energy) helps to accelerate the body's own natural ability to heal itself working on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
When you receive a reiki treatment you will have the added benefit of lying on the comforting warmth of the Hydrotherm cushions.
Remaining fully clothed the practitioners hands are gently placed on or sometimes just above the body, working from your head down to your feet.
Reiki flows through the hands to help open up your body's energy channels (meridians) clearing any blockages that may be affecting the flow of life force energy, bringing harmony and balance to the body.
Different sensations may or may not be experienced during the treatment such as heat, cold, tingling, seeing colours or visions, but always a sense of relaxation, letting you feel calm and loved with a sense of well being.
Reiki can do no harm as it is spiritually guided for your greatest and highest good. It is extremely beneficial for seriously or the terminally ill as it promotes a sense of comfort and peace.
This treatment can also be given with a person sat in a chair. Home and hospital visits are available on request.

REFLEXOLOGY Reflexology is a holistic treatment carried out on the feet. Relaxation and massage techniques are carried out at the beginning and end of the treatment but for the main part, the thumbs and fingers are used to apply pressure to the 60 reflex points on the feet. These areas represent the muscles, organs and glands of the body.
By stimulating them we are encouraging energy to flow freely through the different parts of the body, to bring balance and harmony.
Reflexology can alleviate the effects of stress, encouraging deep relaxation which allows the nervous system to calm down so healing can begin to take place. It improves circulation, releases toxins, revitalizes and gives a sense of balance and well being.
60 minutes is required for a full reflexology treatment although you can extend this to 90 minutes to incorporate a back massage, face and scalp massage or maybe some Reiki?
NATURAL 'FACE LIFT' MASSAGE Natural 'Face lift' massage is a holistic treatment which involves a special combination of massage techniques and acupressure points to the face, head, neck and shoulders.
The massage to the face leaves the skin feeling invigorated, lifted and supple.
Tension is released from tired aching muscles in the head, neck and shoulders
Acupressure points encourages energy to flow freely giving a sense of well being.
