About Us
Erika’s yoga classes incorporate both dynamic flowing sequences that work with and honour the myofascial continuities, helping to create strength and fluidity, balance and alignment, and gentle held ‘yin’ forms, giving the mind and body time to assimilate and absorb this transformational work.

Erika is fluent is French, Italian and Spanish and can offer tuition in these languages if required.

Private tuition is available at your home or at Erika’s yoga studio in Wandsworth. Styles taught include Vinyasa flow, restorative and Yin. Please email her for information on cost and availability.

Erika’s RYT 500 training with The Art Of Contemporary Yoga and Science Of Body Architecture has qualified her in teaching and practice of Restorative Yoga, Dynamic Yoga, Bodylogix, Sequencing, Vinyasa Flow, Contemporary Meditation, Pranayama in classes, one to one instruction and therapeutic practice. Training also included extensive Philosophy, Ancient Psychology, Mudra Practice, Advanced Movement, Body Reading, Applied Myofascial Anatomy and Therapeutic Adjustment.

Styles
Vinyasa Flow

These classes incorporate dynamic flowing sequences that work with and honor the myofascial continuities, helping to create strength and fluidity, balance and alignment, as well as close attention to the breath, which acts in harmony with the asana practice. This is a strong and dynamic practice.

Relax and Restore

Relax & Restore classes use gentle vinyasa flows to strengthen and energize the body, combined with longer held, meditative, restorative and yin poses. Pranayama (breathing techniques) is practiced to release tension and improve the body’s flexibility and fluidity. The class focuses on balancing strength with flexibility and is suitable for all levels and ages, including absolute beginners.

Restorative

Restorative yoga consists of a gentle practice that focuses on releasing tension, restoring and hydrating the body and calming the mind. Very gentle vinyasas are used along with postures that consist in getting into supported shapes, using props like blocks, bolsters and blankets. We focus strongly on the breath in these shapes, undoing tension and blockages throughout the body, leaving one feeling relaxed and restored. This class is suitable for all levels and ages, including absolute beginners.
