WELCOME
Whether or not you are fit, young or old, out of shape or are suffering with an illness you could benefit from one of the services that I can provide. If you are just interested in a class for keeping fit or are you not so keen to go into crowds, or would you prefer a one to one session by yourself, or maybe you would like your friend to come too! Perhaps you work too much and can’t get out the office – I can come to you!


About yoga
Yoga was developed in India around 5000 years ago and it is a philosophy, "the art and science of living" which encourages a journey to discover yourself and to find balance in your life, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Yoga offers us many tools including the postures, breathing practices, sound and meditation that can help us on this journey, this can help increase our energy levels; mentally we become more focused improving our ability to concentrate more. However one of the most important parts and benefits from practicing Yoga is that eventually we become more relaxed when we find out more about our own breath, which can be revolutionary, allowing us to become emotionally stable and more contented with life!

I would encourage anyone to try Yoga no matter what age, size or even at any fitness level. Initially you can achieve more flexibility and increase your energy levels with the postures (asana) but also your focus and concentration improves which slowly allows the natural progression of being able to relax more, help you live a calmer life and learn to deal with the challenges that life inevitably throws at us.

Who Am I?
My name is Anne Davidson, and I have had enjoyed a full career in various industries as Company Accountant/Financial Director. I enjoyed running my own business for more than 10 years but due to the recent recession it was time to move on to pastures new. I always had a plan that when I retired I would do my Yoga full time to pass on its benefits.

However due to a chance meeting, with my ex Landlord Alison Clarke of MEPC, life has brought this opportunity to my doorstep sooner than I thought, so now is the time!

I don't believe in coincidences but believe everything good and bad happens for a reason!

I am a British Wheel of Yoga Diploma Teacher but have enjoyed studying with other bodies of Yoga such as Yoga Scotland, Inner Yoga and I am now currently studying an advanced course "The Yoga Journey" with The Society of Yoga Practitioners. The Yoga Journey course is providing me with the qualifications to develop my knowledge with regards to various health issues of which I am particularly interested in. Being trained by The Society of Yoga Practitioners this allows me to offer therapeutic yoga, in 1 to 1 sessions i.e. helping people with any medical issues such as diabetes, cancer and depression.

I have recently started a new class in my local Business Industrial Estate, Hillington, where I am currently targeting the work place to help alleviate stress levels and encourage a work/life balance allowing people to go straight to a class without the added distraction of going home first, also allowing more quality time at home. Classes
Before coming to a class try to avoid eating for at least 2 hours or just keep it to a light snack to obtain the best benefits and enjoyment from the class.

Please wear comfortable clothing in layers such as a t-shirt, joggers and jacket, which could be removed it you become too hot. The only equipment, which is essential, is a mat, which you can purchase from myself if required. Yoga should be practiced in your bare feet but other useful items are a blanket for relaxation, cushion and also possibly a yoga strap and block but not essential.

Life is very busy for most people but it is important to try and be at a class at least 5/10 minutes before it starts, as it is important to enjoy the experience fully to achieve all its benefits.
