Herbal Medicine (Classical systems)
SERVICES
Welcome to Bodytonix
BODYTONIX focuses on a much neglected area of healthcare known in India as "Rasayana" (elixir therapy) and in China as "Fu Zheng" (the art of tonification).
In my practice I draw from various folk traditions to provide increased energy and aliveness, through the use of diet, herbs and rejuvenative therapies.
Although known symptoms are treated, my major aim is to tonify and promote balance within, so that disease has no place of residence.

Apart from the use of traditional herbs and formulae from the Ayurvedic, Chinese and Western herbal traditions I import Attars from the middle east and work with alchemically produced spagyric essences
Attars
Attars are pure perfume essences derived from the teachings of the Unani Tibb Master Avicenna (10th century). They are extremely pure and potent, containing none of the solvents etc. commonly found in absolutes. In Sufi and Dervish Traditions Attars are used as perfumes to heal psychological and emotional issues and therby assist progress through 'The Stations of the Soul'.
I have access to some of the most exquisite Attars of Rose, Frankincense, Amber, Jasmine, Musk and Sandalwood and constantly seeking to increase my range. Specific blends are also available including Shafayat (The Healer) Nour (Divine Light) and Blue Nile (The Perfume of Cleopatra).
Spagyrics
Spagyrics are highly potentised herbal essences alchemically prepared to contain the spirit, soul and body of the herbs and therefore capable of treating on these three levels of the individual,
I have found Spagyric Essences to be particularly useful in unravelling the underlying cause of disease.
I am currently using the Spagyric Essences of more than 80 plants and several thousand combinations, tailored to individual needs.
The Spagyric Essences I use are created by the Swiss Alchemical Spagyricist Dr. J. Naidu.
'100 Herbs of Power'
In my new book '100 Herbs of Power' I attempt to bridge different traditions of herbalism, and outline the differences and parallels that exist between them. There are literally thousands of plants which have medicinal properties. I have chosen a few from each herbal tradition (Ayurvedic, Chinese, Western, Middle Eastern and some of the more Shamanic cultures).
In my practice I draw from many herbal traditions as I consider that although in the West we have many herbs to choose from, our herbal heritage has suffered a great deal of persecution over the centuries; and we live in an age where all cultures are coming together and need to benefit from each others knowledge and experience.
