We are massage therapy studio based in Fulham, London. Specialising in sports massage, deep tissue & remedial therapies.

At Complementary Health Clinic London we believe in the powerful effects of the human touch and how massage plays a vital role in reducing pain, maintaining good health and energy balancing.

Complementary Health Clinic London offers a unique combination of non-invasive advanced clinical massage therapy and bodywork techniques. These include: Myofascial release, Trigger point therapy, Sports massage; PNF stretching and other massage techniques.

Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage restores free movement, eases pain from stiff muscles and improves posture. A variety of massage techniques are used to manipulate muscles and soft tissue in order to break up fibrous tissue, eliminate muscle spasm and loosen stiff joints.

Remedial Massage also works on trigger points and uses reflex action. Reflex action means that, for example, a headache may be relieved by treating the neck and shoulders, or tingling in the arms could be stopped by releasing muscles in the chest and back.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is the skill of manipulating soft tissues of the body and isolating individual muscle groups using specific techniques including stroking, kneading and compressing.

Sports massage is specifically tailored to sporting injuries or ailments. It can be carried out before, during or after playing sport or exercising. We use techniques that are designed to increase endurance and performance. And assist in minimizing the chances of injury and, if there is an injury – to reduce the recovery time.

Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage

Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage are the most popular massages, it helps release toxins and deep tension from the body.

The main purpose of Swedish Massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. Some other benefits include shortening recovery time from muscular strain, increased circulation without increased heart load, stretching of ligaments and tendons, skin stimulation and soothing of the nervous system. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical and is suggested as part of a regular program for stress management.

Relaxing Fusion Massage

Relaxing Fusion Massage is a perfect combination of Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue and Holistic Hawaiian Massage.

This is our signature treatment which helps to relieve pains and tensions in the muscles as well as delivering a complete state of relaxation.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology Taping as used by athletes at the London 2012 Olympics stems from the science of Kinesiology, hence the name “Kinesio”.

It gives support and stability to your joints and muscles through the activation of the neurological and circulatory systems without affecting circulation and range of motion and is a technique based on the body’s own natural healing process. It is also used for Preventive Maintenance, Oedema and to treat pain.

Slim Fit Massage

Slim Fit Massage works by using Chinese cups. They are used to release toxins from the muscle and enhance circulation by causing local congestion. A partial vacuum is created in the cups, while placed on the skin by means of suction. This draws up the underlying tissues.

Slim fit massage has also been found to affect the body up to four inches into the tissues, causing tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, clear colon blockages help activate and clear the veins, arteries and capillaries, revitalize the skin, clear stretch marks and improve varicose veins.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a technique of applying gentle pressure to reflex areas on the feet, or hands to stimulate the body’s own healing, bring about a state of deep relaxation and to restore, maintain and promote good health.

Reflexology can create a stronger body and calmer mind.
