About me
My interest in health and healing started many years ago and it has led me to explore many different natural and holistic therapies.
It became apparent very early on that my greatest interest was with Reflexology and I became a fully qualified practitioner in 1994. Then in 2007 I became a Reiki Practitioner after completing the Reiki I and II attunements in the Usui System.
I have also taken courses in Thai massage, spiritual healing, shiatsu and homeopathy, various dance and movement therapies and all manner of types of personal development.
My own journey in trying to keep physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy and balanced, has been invaluable in my ‘education’ for working within this field. It has proven to be very helpful in understanding and experiencing how healing processes can work.
I AM A MEMBER OF THE BRITISH REGISTER OF COMPLEMENTARY PRACTITIONERS (B.R.C.P) AND AM COVERED BY PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY INSURANCE.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is an ancient method of healing foot massage, which has been used for thousands of years in places such as China, India and Egypt.
The basic premise of Reflexology is that points on your feet and hands correspond with organs and systems within your body. Through massage and stimulation of these ‘reflex points’ we help your body to relax, release tension in specific areas, and restore balance. If tension and stress are reduced in the body, then it can work more effectively. This promotes better health and an improved sense of well being.

What is Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force. The Usui System of Natural Healing is the art of channelling Universal Energy as a form of hands on healing. Reiki is not only healing, but deeply relaxing, working on all levels to rebalance the body, focusing on the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical, giving you a feeling of well being, peace and tranquillity. Reiki treats the cause of the imbalance rather than the symptoms and speeds up the natural healing process.
The treatment is "hands on" healing and carried out over clothing.

What to expect from a treatment
Treatments last approximately one hour.
You will hopefully find the foot massage or Reiki session a very relaxing experience. You may experience different sensations in your body or your feet.
It’s hard to predict exactly how you will respond to your treatment. Some people feel energized, others very relaxed, so it’s a good idea to allow yourself some free time after your session.
During your consultation we will discuss how many treatments you may need. Sometimes one treatment is enough, but generally healing is a gradual process and you may need to have more.
