Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is great for getting in to those knots and grizzly bits in your neck, shoulders and back. Ideal for relieving the stress and tension build up that we all get from sitting at work for too long, driving or looking after young children ! Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the traditional western style massage. We don’t employ beauty therapists – all our massage therapists are professionally trained and qualified so you will get a great Swedish massage – not the dreaded skin polish by a bored 17 year old beautician who is day dreaming about which boyfriend to text. Our therapists can alter the pressure to suit you so it can be relaxing or firm and is great for rejuvenating tired muscles.

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai massage is more energising and rigorous than more classic forms of massage. The therapist uses her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Muscle compression, joint mobilisation, and acupressure are also used during the treatment. Thai massage is performed on a futon mattress on the floor as oppose to a normal massage couch. Our clients have described Thai massage as both relaxing and energising. Our Thai therapist, Ulrika, studied in Thailand and has a large number of clients who swear it is the best Thai massage they have experienced.

Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a soft tissue treatment designed to help chronic pain and musco-skeletal injury or imbalance. Many clients come to us for NMT after limited success at a chiropractor or physiotherapist. Unlike these other disciplines our NMT specialists look at, and test, the whole body and not just the area where the pain is presenting. NMT incorporates a variety of treatments including trigger point work, positional release, dry needling (clients choice), soft tissue manipulation, muscle energy techniques and FSM. Our clients enjoy a high success rate in recovering from chronic pain and injury.

Bowen Technique
The Bowen Technique is a very popular and effective remedial treatment. Unlike other remedial therapies it is very light and is gentle enough to be used on everyone from newly born babies to the elderly. It uses gentle rolling type moves across specific muscles, tendons and ligaments to initiate a response from the body. Many people find it deeply relaxing and the results can be quite startling. As well as treating musco-skeletal problems such as lower back pain and pelvic imbalances, it is also effective for treating asthma, RSI, carpal tunnel syndrome and a whole host of other conditions. Recent studies have indicated that it can help settle children with ADHD and can have positive effects on autistic children.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a popular and relaxing holistic treatment based on the principle that reflex points on the soles, tops and sides of the feet are connected to corresponding areas throughout the body. Pregnancy Massage can offer a wide range of benefits and help you adjust to the dramatic changes you are experiencing as you prepare for childbirth. Hot Stones Massage
Hot stone massage is a speciality massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage. The heat can help tight muscles release. The therapist uses traditional Swedish massage strokes while holding a heated stone. The therapist might also leave heated stones in specific points along your spine, or in the palms of your hand, or even between your toes to improve the flow of energy in your body. Hot stones massage is very relaxing and an ideal massage if you are looking to spoil yourself or someone else.

Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing, traditional hands-on Japanese healing art using finger pressure on energy pathways called meridians to treat mind and body.
