Earthlife is a unique and tranquil facility in the arches of Kew Bridge, where emphasis is placed on Fitness, Health and Wellbeing. Our aim is to provide a personal and holistic approach to fitness and wellbeing in a place of calm and relaxation.
Our highly trained and experienced therapists and instructors offer a wide range of Complementary Therapies, Beauty Treatments and Workshops as well as Fitness Classes for adults and teens, with no membership or joining fees.
We provide a personal and holistic approach to Wellbeing and Fitness in a place of calm and relaxation with an emphasis on organic and natural products and therapies. Our therapists can offer a choice of treatments from a variety of Massages to Chiropractic, Beauty Treatments and Hypnotherapy.
As our world becomes busier we need to take time out to relax and recharge our batteries. With many treatments to choose from, you’ll find the perfect one for you, be it for relaxation, de-stress, muscular or postural issues or just some well-needed pampering. We offer a wide range of Fitness and Dance Classes for adults and teens during the week, which are mainly run as 6 or 7 week courses following Richmond Council's school term times. There are a variety of classes available, with something for everyone’s taste. Classes are kept small for more individual attention and we have a maximum of 9 in any mat-work class. No membership or joining fees.

Monday to Friday classes are run as 6 or 7 week courses, whilst the Saturday morning Yoga is run as single classes. Bookings are essential, due to small class numbers.
Earthlife Mother & Baby
Pregnancy is a very special time and a woman's body and mind experiences tremendous changes within a short period of time. At Earthlife we offer a variety of treatments, fitness classes and workshops, which are designed to help you adapt to the changes happening within you, prepare and recover from the birth and bond with your new baby.
Pre & Post Birth Exercise
To attend our Ante Natal Yoga class you would need to be in our past your 16th week of pregnancy. You can continue right up until your due date, as long as you feel up to it.
Ante Natal Yoga
Pregnancy Yoga offers specifically modified postures, which promotes flexibility and the strength to accommodate the growing baby. It allows your body to open gently in preparation for birth and teaches you relaxation techniques that can be used throughout your pregnancy.
Mum & Baby Yoga
This class aims to promote strength, vitality and improve posture through gentle yoga poses. The poses are done with the babies, letting mum and baby get to know and bond with each other. The class is very much centred around the babies and feeding, changing, sleeping, crying is all OK.
Post Natal Fitness
Exercises to help you re-balance your body, recover your figure and regain your energy levels. You baby can be brought along to this class.
The ultimate fitness class for new mums. This class is done out-doors in the fresh air with your baby in it's buggy. A one hour class of power walking, stretches, strengthening and toning, which will improve your posture and pelvic floor strength to make you look and feel great!
You would need to have had your 6 week check up after a natural birth or wait 8-10 weeks after a c-section, before attending any of our Post Natal classes.
Pre & Post Birth Workshops
Learn self-hypnosis, relaxation and visualisation exercises to keep you in a state of calm and relaxation throughout your labour and birth. Find out how to identify and deal with any special circumstances that could arise during your labour and birth and in the unlikely event of medical intervention, how to decide and deal with your choices calmly. Calm and peaceful births create calm babies. Calm babies find it easier to breast feed and sleep and tend to go on to be calm children. HypnoBirthing® works! For you and your birthing partner.
Breathe to a Better Birth
Breathe to a Better Birth has been developed in order to teach couples practical breathing techniques designed to control the fear that creates pain in childbirth. You will learn how assist your body and to relax into a deep level of comfort. The class complements other classes like pregnancy yoga and HypnoBirthing. You can come on your own or with your birthing partner. Each couple will receive a Breathe to a Better Birth CD, to assist their practice at home and for use during labour.
Clinical research has shown that positive, loving, nurturing touch has an important impact on a baby’s development. Baby Massage is something everyone can learn – providing benefits to both the baby and the parent. It can aid digestion and help relieve colic and wind. It can help calm and soothe, improve sleeping patterns, stimulate circulation and promote bonding between parents and the baby. This workshop is suitable for babies from 6 weeks or older.
Baby & Child Resuscitation
Less than 1% of the population in the UK know how to perform Resuscitation.
Having such vital skills is particularly essential as a parent or when caring for a baby or young child. Following the latest Guidelines of the Resuscitation Council, you will be taught the steps to follow if a baby stopped breathing through ‘Basic Life Support’. This session also covers Choking which is a common fear amongst parents. Practice on manikins. Easy to use handouts are given covering all the training. This relaxed session allows plenty of time to ask questions and practice giving you confidence and reassurance. A must for parents – ante or post natal or anyone looking after children... This session truly is a lifetime investment.
Childhood Illness & Emergencies
Covering First Aid and the initial steps to follow in an range of emergency situations – if a child became suddenly unwell, was injured, ingested a poisonous substance, had a fit, meningitis or head injuries. As well as tips to help you feel more confident in caring for your child when they have minor illness, it also includes tips on what to have in your medicine cabinet, recognising various signs and symptoms and where and when to seek medical advice. Useful handouts are given of the information covered.
